Well I always hear people say God has made every one equal.....well i somewhere don't agree with this, not that i am an atheist, its just a thought which came across my mind. if all people were made equal then I believe everyone should have equal intellect, everyone should have been Bill Gates.....lolzzz....yes you may say that they worked hard that's why they are there....but I know of people who really work hard but still cant get there......why are some people calm and some people get angry.....some tall, some short......its just a thought friends I myself am a believer in god......but I would like to know your views of this.....

for me everybody is equal in the sense the we have our own especial talent or skills. there are things i can do but you can't. we are all equal in importance to each other, the poor, rich, the famous and the other who are less fortunate are equal because we can't live without the other. it is the composition of this world. everybody has its own role. good for you if your given the luxurious role.

Well playing a luxurious role does not necessarily bring joy in our heart......there has to be peace attached to it.....its just a thought....thanks for your response...:)

Well, when you talk about bill gates, and thoes wo work hard and yadda yadda..Thoes are all worldly things. A job, money you cannot take these things with you when you die can you??..Then they are wordly things. When you are a strong beleive and true to your religion wordly things dont matter... We all were made in gods image.no matter if someone is short or tall or fat or thin..we are ALL the same people. we all have two arms to legs and so forth..EVEN for the kids who are born without them...doesnt mean they wernt supposed to be born with them...we are all the same just some things happen to other people that done happen to the rest of us.. ITS ALL WORLDY..

i think every one is equal, in terms of everythng we have in our lives. others have money but dont have family, others have family and have a little on the monetary aspect, others have money but dont have a love one.. and others are happily married others are not. i guess these are how we are all made equal.

Well said chiyosan,
I believe god purposely didn't make man perfect, as no one would remember god if one has everything in his life.....thanks for such beautiful insight

I believe that everyone has the same opportunities as everyone else when they are put on this earth. They are all given them free agency to choose. You have the freedom to choose, but you do not have the freedom to know the outcome of those choices. Everyone is given the opportunity to make themselves subject in terms of Bill Gates. But look at how hard he worked to get there. You dont get judged by God by the deed that you do or the money you make. You get looked upon by the way that you followed the commandments and followed God's reality. Everyone was created equal in a sense.

I believe the world is fair to everyone, and when God closed a window for you,he will open anther door for you.I do not think gap between each other of intelligence.Someone are good at finding in the living, some people are good at seizing the opportunities around them.Behind every successful person is not just rely on luck.Of course life has a lot of effort has not been a corresponding return.I think this is a matter of time,we are perpare for one day that we sucessful on one hand.I believe that sentence:NO PAINS NO GAINS.

Well he "did'nt" give you the gift of spelling... haha I'm just kidding. Well, we live in a materialistic world, and the truth is, without all of his money, Bill Gates is still just a person. He gives everyone special things about them that they can be proud of. Just because someone has more money doesn't mean God likes them more.

We are equal in value or worth as humans, not the same in every aspect. God is no respecter of persons.

Good day to you. God makes everyone are equal i think thats not true because some are rich and some are poor, some are beautiful some are ugly. I think God loves everyone equal because god makes rain to the good people and even to the bad. God make the day sunny to the good and bad. Thats what i think.

How do you define equality? I think that you'll find that what God values is much different than what the world values... Money Wealth Power... those are the world's things. You can't take that with you.
We all are made in the image of God, in that we're all equal. And God loves each one of us, in that we're equal too. What we do with THAT is completely up to us.
The wealth of the world in incompatible with God's wealth, and blinds us to what is possible with God. Sometimes the poorest people have the biggest voice - so how do you measure equality?

everyone is equal.. there are some who are gifted financially but they are not gifted emotionally. Or there are some who are gifted emotionally but they don't have money. its just a trade off. you cannot have everything. For example a rich person will have problems with security in his life, I even have a friend who cannot meet his brothers and sisters all the time due to security reasons. In contrast, poor people live with their family harmoniously even though they do not have money.. There are lots of examples but I guess posting it here would not be enough..

Obviously God is not a communist.
On a more serious note though, everyone was not created equal. Woman was created to be subject to man.
And then after the whole Garden of Eden fiasco, God punished all of mankind so that now we have people with all sorts of defects and illnesses.

Everyone was made equal but god gave us all free will. This means that our decisions will effect our own lives, i believe things that we have done in the past effect our future.

Well... God didn't make us equal because if He made us equal... we are not human anymore... we are robot which run with so many binary code... you know... binary code is only two true or false.... they are not flexible.... they can only say yes or no without any reason. But as a human we can give any reasoe wether we said yes or no.

God is equal to everyone. He has no partiality. He gives everyone the same, but we take things in different ways. If we are not rich it is not because God did not give us money and God does not give money to anyone. Trust in him and you will be happy. Never compare ourselves with someone else. Try to understand that there are people in the world who are living miserable life, without even being able to afford food for days, the same way there are people who live luxuriously. Some day will be a good day for you too, wait for it.

God is great, god is wonderful and god is all knowing. Its very basic, why did'nt God make everyone equal?
If all of us are rich and who will be poor farmers to till the land. If all of us have the same talent and equally excellent, there will be no need for an applause.
all of us are made of varied qualities and God is waiting for us to excell.
He didn't make us to be a robot but provided us with a mind to differ and be what we are.
Have a good day.

God created us equal in terms of worth/dignity. whether we are "less sinful" or "more sinful" God loves us equally. we have equal chances of His salvation, we have equal previlidges at being forgiven, etc.
But we can never be equal in terms of intellect, wealth, and in many earthly matters.
i hope you're getting what i'm trying to say.
hardwork isn't the only factor in our success in life. we also need to consider the opportunities around us, the decisions we make day by day, the decisions our parents and grandparents made which are also a big factor in what we have become and in what we could become in the future, and how successful we can be.
there are just so many variables to be considered. but as far as equality is concerned, we definitely are equal in God's eyes. He loves all of us equally. anybody can argue about that but if we only know much about God then we would really understand that God treats us equally.
God bless you

Hi,John4Christ
I don't believe in God or anything like that. However,I still think every one is equal.Think that we both have the right to pursue what we want ,to learn what we want to know,to make friends,to get married...I agree that some people are gifted and some are not, some are tall while some are short. That is right, but every one is the same in general. We can pursue our dreams regardless of our shortcomings, right?
Have a nice day!

SINCE GOD IS LOVING, IMPARTIAL, JUST, UPRIGHT, AND RIGHTEOUS, HOW COULD HE HAVE CREATED HUMANS WITH INHERENT INEQUALITY AS REGARDS THEIR RIGHT TO ENJOY HAPPINESS?
TO ALLOW DISCRIMINATION AMOUNG PEOPLE AND TO PLACE THEM IN A SYSTEM OF INEQUALITY
WOULD BE IN DIRECT CONTRADICTION TO HIS PERSONALITY. HE INTENDED THAT THEY ALL BE
born free AND EQUAL IN DIGNITY AND RIGHTS. YET, TODAY THINGS ARE OBVIOUSLY NOT THAT WAY.WILL THINGS EVER CHANGE? DEFINITELY YES!

We are a nation that is different in thought, and desires in this life call reality. We each have our own desires and passion. We shall be in harmony with ourselves and the world around us. We all try to survive and make a living for ourselves and our families, but we shall do this in accordance with God's spirit. You cant be one sided. What do I mean by being one sided? Well you cant be just totally on the physicall side of life and leave out the spiritual side. you have to have an eaqual balance to both. Why, because you can become unequally yoke with the spiritual and the natural part of yourself which can cause confusion in your mind. And to be free you have to have honesty with yourself and reality in God.
