Countries all over the world is celebrating the 39th International Earth Day today. I supposed this very important celebration is observed all over the world. It is important that on this day we work hand-in-hand in protecting our Mother Earth. We must be aware that it is our duty and responsibility to always take care and do our very best to protect and conserve our Nature. In your own way, how can you help protect our environment against total destruction?

We are changing over our lightbulbs to more efficent ones and watching our use better. They were talking about the first earth day on the news and according to them 39 years ago they all predicted we would be in big trouble by now. 85% of our animals should be extinct and we should be 11 degrees cooler, only 3 countries should have food right now. I think we all need to be responcible but I dont know if we can really stop our end if it is comming.

I am not a personal issue, but thousands of people around the world a shared responsibility. I usually pay attention to is the conservation of electricity, saving resources as much as possible not to use plastic bags, such as redundant, the classification of garbage is stored. I would like everyone from the small side note, our Mother Earth will be well protected.

Greetings and Happy Earth Day. Probably the single most important thing we can do to promote protection of the environment is to increase the consciousness of every man, woman, and child of the importance of their actions in making the environment healthy or not. I belonged for many years to Windstar, singer John Denver's organization devoted to enviromentalism. John always encouraged individual action, each day, through conscious choices. As he said, "If you do what you do, and I do what I do, we can change the world." This fundamental truth is what will finally turn the tide, and make the earth self-sustainable. If we each watched our energy use, food choices, practiced recycling and composting, and took the individual actions we directly control, we can collectively make an enormous difference. Talk to your family, friends, and neighbors about what you are doing, and encourage them in what they can do.
