My boy also fell and his front teeth which were already weak was broken to half. He was also around 3 yrs old that time. We brought him to the dentist for a check up but the dentist adviced us to just wait, because the teeth in front would eventually fall off, that is when the set of teeth would start to change to permanent which is around 6 years old. Its not really bothering my boy anyway and the dentist said that since it doesn't, there is no need to pull it out.

Funny I should read this now. My 2 year old just fell down and hit her front two teeth on the hard wood floor and the gums are bleeding. I hope that she did not do any damage to them. They don't really seem loose at all.
I hope your son handles the tooth extraction ok. I would stock up on Popsicle's for him.

Aww! Poor kiddo! What has to be done, has to be done though! I knew one little girl who had to have nine teeth removed when she was just barely three! But hers was due to her mom feeding her baby bottles of kool-aid and she got baby bottle rot!
