Does anyone know how to make their own solar panels?

I have seen video on hwo to build your own solar panel but I still see that the one that builds it are knowledgeable on electriticity and many are to be considered in installing it. So if your now that knowledgeable I have'nt seen anything that is like a DIY solar panels that you can install yourself. I think there are things that you need to know that only a technician knows. But I am also dreaming that someday this technology would be available at an affordable price because it seems a bit pricey and many cannot afford to have one in their homes. I can see that we can really tapped the free energy that the sun provides us and there is plenty in my place the only problem is that the price is just not affordable at the moment.

Are you looking to make your own or install your own? One is highly complicated the other could be figured out with relative ease if you are good at DIY stuff. Where are you going to get the materials? You are better off looking on ebay.
