I am on twitter as well but it seems I do not keep up with it like I should. As for followers I think I have like 13 something like that. I plan on trying to get some more followers that way I can share what it is that I do online. I try to be honest on there but I also realize that there are some internet stalkers and that is why I waited but than I thought to myself well I am online I can give it a shot and see where it goes. Yes, Twitter is a great service for communication. I have belonged for about three months and I have 393 followers. Twitter is useful for communication with friends, because, like chat, it instantly updates your Tweets and allows you to post shortened links to interesting websites. There are a wealth of companion programs, such as TweetDeck and Twirl, which allow you to follow Twitter outside of your browser, so you can do other things. As long as Twitter remains free for users, it will continue to grow. Of course, Twitter can and is used for spam, but you can unfollow and block these abusers (which you can't always do with email). I invite anyone to follow me at twitter.com/pltaylor. I try to post and reply to interesting Tweets, and it's a useful "real-time" news source, too. By the way, there seems to be constant competition to get followers, which is really irrelevant. You can only follow and be followed by a reasonable number of people; otherwise your Tweets get lost in the confusion. If you want, you can always check out the "public_timeline" to see if there are any interesting people or news. So Tweet away and enjoy!

I do not have and i do not have any plan to register twitter. It is not popular in my country and i do not think to get many followers. I enjoy facebook and almost all my friends are there. So no need another similar site for me at this moment

i have recently joined and still wondering how to use it..some one told me it earns money too but how and when i am going to get payment totally confused..want more info

I have been using Twitter for a couple of months now, and I love it! I am a novelist, and Twitter has been an excellent way for me to communicate with my friends and fans in real time. I even found an opportunity to be on a radio show by meeting a woman on Twitter who owns a radio station in Los Angeles! By the way, if you will message your Twitter ID to me, I will follow you. Otherwise you can look me up there as carcher777 :)

Overall, I've had the impression that Twitter seems like just another means of spamming your friends, coworkers, even total strangers that choose to follow you. But after the activity in this post, I might check it out and give it another chance. I run a blog, but as of now I dont have a real NEED to twitter.

I have twitter and I have 7 followers and 2 people I know.... well one is only a radio station the other's my mother :P
