I bought some pork rib tips the other night and cooked them in the crock pot. My son liked them so much he begged me to buy more. I am going to make them for dinner tomorrow night. Should I throw them in on low now or in the morning and let them cook all day? I did the all day thing before. Do you like ribs? Baby back, spare, rib tips, or country style? Pork or beef?

One great thing you can do with ribs (pork is best) is to use them in rice. Boil the ribs and then cook the rice in the juice, adding the rib meat back in. Season with pepper and salt and whatever else you like and enjoy :) A local restaurant does ribs in a cinnamon sauce. This is excellent also. I'm afraid I don't have a recipe on that sauce though.

I get pork ribs from the wholesale club every so often. They're usually on special when I buy them, reduced for quick sale. The entire package costs maybe $5, and we like it. I've done them in the crockpot all day, and it wasn't bad. But the last few times I made them in the oven and for some reason I liked them better that way. I don't like what happens to the bbq sauce when it sits in the crockpot all day. I bought some to make this week too. I normally buy the boneless as that's what's on special. If it's not on special I wouldn't buy it.

I have them in on low now, but I have not put the sauce in yet. Just some sea salt. You are right it does get a little funny sitting in there all day. I had to add more to the stuff on the plate last time.

I normally get the Baby Back ones, but the rib tips were only 99 cents a pound. I really couldn't pass them up. Your way sounds good. I love them cooked out on the grill.
