Have you ever celebrate summer holidays?

Well, I dont know about others, but I use to celebrate my summer holidays every year, when I was in School. It was like days of heaven for me, when I dont have to go to School, nor have to study, and just play play and play. I use to go to my maternal uncles in my Summer Holidays. They love me very much, and agree upon every demand of mine. They have a movie theater of their own in the Center Market of the city. As I was not allowed to watch movie in my own house, I use to fulfill all my thirst for movie here. I use to go for movie daily, alone. And the gatekeeper use to salute me on the Gate. I use to sit in the special Cabin to watch movie. In evening, I use to play with the friends of the Society their. As I use to go their every year, I had many friends their also. My Maternal Aunt, use to cook, my favorite food for me daily, for which my mom use to deny in my own house. Not only this, but my uncle and me use to go to Amusement parks, and food court and enjoy a lot their. You can say that, I was always waiting for my summer holidays to begin, but use to be sad, by the end of it.

I will just hang out with my friends , its never boring when they are around I also go for movies and all ..........

We home school our children so their summer holiday is ours too.

well,now it's like I have no summer holidays since I graduated from college,I mean students in school,teachers still have summer holidays and winter holidays for 2 monthes but the others don't have the right to enjoy the two long holidays,but if I have,I will also hang out with my friends,play basketballs and visit different places.that will be meaningful

Hello Dasari100!!! In my case, there used to be a time in school when I used to wait desperately for the summer vacation or the winter vacation. The most happiest thing those days used to be the freedom from the boundary of schools. Well as a school boy, I used to play a lot and enjoy the holiday at its 100 percent quality. And now as a college student, we don't get holidays like summer vacation or winter vacation. But we have a lot of holidays for the exam preparation. And I am in this phase currently. Its been more than 2 weeks I have been staying in holiday but for the preparation of the exam next week. I can't celebrate these holidays, got to utilize this time. And still holiday is holiday, these days are better than waking up early in the morning and rushing to the college hehe...Along with study, I get time to enjoy too... The bigger vacation we get in our country is during the greatest festivals. I am from Nepal, so we have dashain and Tihar as a main festival. We get holidays from college for about 4 weeks in these time. And I have to say, this is the real time to enjoy. NO any tensions, just enjoyment. As you are from India, hope you clearly understand what these holidays mean to us. India's Diwali and our Tihar, its celebrated almost in the same way with the lights and patakas.... Oh, I can't explain how enjoyment, the vacation is.... Keep mylotting...

hello there, as kids we always used to enjoy summer holidays........we went on vacations and visited other family members...played with friend....its the time of the year when school ends and these a lot of fun....
