What did you do today to help Earth for Earth day?

So today is Earth day and everyone seems to be doing their share to help out. It is great that there are so many things that can help save the earth. My family have done a few things to try and help but I am not sure if it seems to be enough so I was just wondering what type of things did you do today or have you done to help save the Earth?

Earth day,huh?I would not keep the light on tonight when I watch movie or surfer on internet,this way,I can save some electricity.and I could walk up and down stairs instead of taking the elevator,I think we could do many things to save our earth.

Thanks for your response..I have done a few things but not too much, I try to keep the lights off unless I need them too and I think taking the stairs not only helps save on power for the earth but is also very helpful to your body in keeping you somewhat active :)

Well it is never too late to start...even small things like recycling or turning off lights when you don't need them can help!!! Not using plastic bags is also a great thing...thanks for responding!

I am horrible, I didn't even realize it was earth day. I do things on a normal basis though such as keeping the lights off when I am not using them and recycling bags, cans, etc... I try to be more concious of it but sometimes I forget.

I don't even remember seeing anything on television about it. I don't have kids so I don't watch Nick.

Don't worry..if I didn't have kids that watched Nickelodeon I probably wouldn't have either. They had a thing on Nickelodeon where they had you shut your television and lights off for one minute at nine o'clock. So we were dark at nine and it reminded me that it was earth day. Recycling is a great start...thanks for your response!!!
