i confess, i'm guilty, call the law!!! i have sampled grapes. i know u are not suppose to guess the devil made me do it. i did find out which ones i wanted, never sampled anything else but grapes. y'all come see me in jail.

We may try A grape to see if we like them then buy that bag. I do not like to eat more than that, I think that borders on stealing and I prefer to wash my produce before eating. Now I have seen people grab packages of food and eat it while walking through the market, then not paying for it. That is bad and I do not do that. There have been times I am so thirsty, I will get a bottle of water, but I make sure I pay for it.

I haven't done that but I think that especially with grapes, you should be able to do that. They are so varied sometimes in their flavor. I can buy some one day and they will be fantastic! Then, the next day I buy from the same store and they are very sour or have bitter skin. Fruit is expensive. They should offer samples...

Yes, my sister who lives in th U.K. says that this the norm in supermarkets. Evidently many homeless people try to use his methdd to get something to eat. Others I guess feel that they have a right ot tery at least one. Myself, I have never done this and if I drink a water or soda then I put the empty bottle/container in the shopping trolley and pay for it at the checkout. Good post

That seems to be a favorite thing for people to do or sometimes kids help themselves.I really beleave you get less these days I have noticed that at the supermarkets recently.nothing seems full anymore.We always check everything like crisps multi packs bet your life someone has sneaked a bag out of them.Even light bulbs in the diy shops ,tools ,nails are missing ,we hand them into the shop assistant,how would someone with limited eye sight realise a bit was missing.Some people just don't pay for anything ,if my child wanted to start something in the supermarket I used to hold the packet and make sure the cashout saw my empty packet,but like she said the amount of people that don't bother paying.I could not beleave it now I would beleave anything.Nothing would surprise me anymore.xxx

No, I never have thought of this and I never have done it. I was just taught that you have to pay for things before you eat them. Happy mylotting! Kathy.
