best ip hide software

Please let me know what is the best IP Hide Software out there. I'm really tired of searching reviews online. If you have one now, please describe it's advantages and disadvantage and your good/bad experiences with it. All your posts will be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!

I can't say it's necessary, but it's a good way to protect you from average hackers. My reason is more for safety that's why I'm looking for good one.

Yes, some does cause problems when surfing and loading pages. That's why I ask on some of my comments if you can just somehow turn it off if not needed.

I'm not sure how this works, but if I don't require for it to hide my IP. I can just turn it off somehow right?
