Do you ever look at the beautiful creation and think "There has to be a God!"?

I am reminded of God every time I see something beautiful in the creation a flower, a beautiful sunset, or the different colors in the creation. When I've looked into the faces of my newborn children I praised God and thanked Him for allowing us to witness such miraculous things. We were created to give thanks and to receive His blessings. Will you give thanks and be reminded of God next time you see something beautiful?

Yes, I do believe that God is the creator of everything, the good, beautiful and jthe ugly. I see His hand in everything that I see, hear or feel. The beauty of a beautiful woman or handsome man makes me wonder at God's artistry, so also in Nature. I remember a poem we used to sing when we were small, thanking Him for this and that and all that is wonderfull, something like all things bringht and beautiful, all creatures great and small, all things wise and wonderful, the good Lord made them all....... I definitely believe in Him and His hand in everything and thank Him for giving me a human birth to enjoy them.

I dont believe in god and no I dont feel that the beauty and wonder of the world is or should be credited to him etc...
Just out of curiosity though, when you see something "ugly" (for lack of a more suitable term since its early for me LOL) do you still think of god and thank him?

Yes, if it weren't for all the ugliness in the world how would we know what was pleasing and beautiful?

I give thanks several times a day! Just the other day I went out on my back steps. There is a snowball bush there. The sun was up and it looked like the bush was covered with diamonds, it was sparkling! The dew had collected on the leaves in little orbs of light that were reflecting the morning son. No human could have thought of such a lovely work of art.
I see beautiful things every day and they remind me how much God loves us.

GOD REVEALS HIMSELF THROUGH NATURE
"God has surrounded us with nature's beautiful scenery in order to attract and interest the mind. It is His design that we should associate the glories of nature with His character. If we faithfully study the book of nature, we shall find it a fruitful source for contemplating the infinite love and power of God." - Ellen G. White, The Adventist Home, page 144. Those who believe in the Bible will be confirmed in their convictions that when they look at the starlit sky or see the majestic trees in the forests and the beauty of the setting sun behind snow-covered mountaintops, they are seeing the works of a loving and powerful Creator. When they see an eagle in flight, admire a tulip, or marvel about the intricacies of the human body, they see evidences of God's invisible qualities and agree that nature indeed declares the glory of God.
But the Bible passages take us a step further. They also suggest that the nonbeliever, by looking at nature, will somehow catch a glimpse of a divine Power that designed and made all that is. In today's world many close their eyes to this aspect. They have imbibed evolutionary thinking and want to explain all that exists in terms of chance and necessity. But, increaslingly, scholars are admitting that there is so much evidence of intelligent design that this can be ignored only by those who stubbornly close their eyes to it.
I would like to ask others a simple question: What is the moral logical and reasonable explanation for the beauty and complexity of life: pure chance or a purposeful and planned-out creation? Defend your answer.

I am a scientist. A wildlife biologist, to be exact. I appreciate it for what it is. I see the history of the Earth, the magnitude of the continuous evolutionary processes, and the magnificent complexity that occurs so naturally and easily. Our lives mean nothing to the Earth. We are but a portion of a speck in geologic time.
As I have grown older and have learned more about the history of the Earth, as well as studied religion, the more I am inclined to move away from a creative "being" as the source of all creation. At the very least, I don't agree with organized religion.

There's also many more unpublicized ways of dating the earth which suggests a much younger earth.. Such as the amount of helium, which evaporates/rises so quickly, still in the system.. And the geologic layers are seen by some scientists to have been formed by a cataclysmic event.. rather than millions/billions of years.

Of course it was once non-existent. Everything was. That doesn't mean the Earth does not have a 6.4-billion year history. I don't think either you or I or any of the other mylotters have the time or the patience to read the entire history of the Earth.
Besides, none of us were there back then, so we can only hypothesize what went on before written history. But there is a ton of geological evidence to back the claim that the Earth is very, very old and has contained many different types of plants and animals that are no longer alive today. This is widely accepted in the scientific community.

I especially think of God when I watch my newest grand daughter! Like you, when I look into her face.. and when I watch her learning so much! And look at those little tools, those beautiful little hands.. And yes, the trees, flowers, sky.. and the human smile..

I'm forever grateful, every time I see a new day--as you point out, a new sunset. I thank God for life, health, blessings and his providence, not only mine, but my family's, every single day.
If we fail to do this, we will be ungrateful humans--who are worse than unbelievers.
So, giving thanks and praise unto God, every day, is a form of worship. And as believers we must.

My greatest reminder is when I see a new baby!
But, I also see his handiwork in the sunrise, the way the geese fly and land on the lake behind my house and the beautiful swan that has taken up residency there.
When I go to my inlaws in the Western United States, and I see the majestic beauty of the mountains there, I have to say wow! Then there was our visit to the Grand Canyon last Christmas. That was certainly a reminder of what He created!

Yes. And it is written, Romans 1:20 "For since the creation of the world - God's invisible qualities, HIS ETERNAL POWER and HIS DIVINE NATURE, HAVE BEEN CLEARLY SEEN, BEING UNDERSTOOD FROM WHAT HE HAS MADE, so that men are without excuse.

All things bright and beautiful, all creatures great and small, all thing wise and wonderful. The Lord God made them all. God is the creator of everthing, he made everthing perfect, anything that is ugly and imperfect is as a result of mankind doing and that is why we are suffering the way we do right now. Let us give God thanks for all His doings and be greatful and appreciative of His marvalous works.

All creations are beautifully made, They show God's invisible presence that few many deny. This is what the bible his written words says at,
Romans chapter 1 vs 20 "for his invisible (qualities) are clearly seen from world's creation onwards, because the are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship, so that they are inexcusable"

Yes I do thank God for the wonder things I see around which work so amazingly. Morning sunrise, evening sunset, natural perfumed flowers, cute children, his creation is amazing and awesome. I thank him not only for that but for the wonderful and miraculous things he has been doing in my life too. what I am now is all because of him, he always protects me and has never broken my trust. That is the reason I don't mind even if something happens which is disappointing and which I have never expected, because I know very well that God is there and he takes care of it if I leave it to him and do my work quietly. He has always created beautiful creation and only beauty every where.
