I have been struggling with my weight for several years. Losing weight requires a strong determination and also peseverence which I think is the major reason for the hardship of it.
Recently , I figured out a way which is very useful in my case. I eat my breakfast and lunch regularly .But no dinner!
In the afternoon, I drink water at intervals, which can prevent me from feeling hungry at dinner time. Anyway , whenever I feel hungry or want to eat something, I just drink some water to alleviate the feeling of hungry.
This method can help me lose weight at a rate of 1kg per week

Hey, you may want to try this Hibernation Diet - eat honey and sleep to lose weight. This sounds ridiculous if you don't know the theory behind it. The Diet teaches how we can make our metabolism system work for us when our body is in its recovery mode (sleep). Check it out!

I´m just starting but I´m beginning to walk a little more and post a little less.
Today I went with my dog to buy veggies. WALKING!!! So tonight it´s going to be a sort of Cesar´s salad with lots of lettuce, tomatoes and the works. I´ll dress it with a bit of olive oil, salt, pepper and oregano. And to do a bit of cheating, I´ll add just a dash of parmesan cheese.
I wonder if we could help each other by posting what we are having to eat everyday!!!

Hi niecie21,
Amir here. I have no idea how to feel being overweight but I'm very sure its awful and can lead to low self esteem to some people. I myself on the other hand, having hard time to gain weight! My girlfriend always complain how small i am and skinny i look. Even though i know she says that as a joke but it concerns me very much.
On my research of how to gain weight, i came across this website of how you can lose weight and they offer you free trial products. It seems have worked well and you can give it a try since its free. However if i am not mistaken you need to pay few bucks for the shipping. http://www.acaiberryselect.com/?aid=464314

The best thing is take a brisk walk for 45 minutes-1hour for atleast 4 times a week and do daily Yoga/Crucnches/push ups - whichever one is convenient to you for atleast 20 minutes a day and drink more Water. I am sure you will reduce weight. You need not go on diet at all. Believe my words. Although it will take you 5 months to get inot a good shape by following this but believe me you will definitely get into shape by practising this sincerely.

Sometimes, when you are dieting, you really want the things that you can't have or have written FAT all over them. Losing weight is first of all a matter of mental approach. You will not lose the same amount of weight in different weeks. This week you will lose so much, the other you will lose less.
Keep foods that will make your cravings diminish. Sometimes, you feel hungry, but all you need is a glass of water. So before eating, take a glass of water, and see how your body reacts to that. Snack with fruits that make you feel full like bananas or apples and treat yourself to something nice. I like yoghurts a lot! I put them in the freezer for a while and it feels like eating ice cream but with half the fat, but same yummy taste. Good luck!
