when you reach your first payout, how many posts have you made at that time? I have done more than 400 posts here but I only make $6.62.It is quit a long way to make it to my first payout. It seems that I got only 1-2 cents for my each post. How about you guys? Do you think it is easy for you to make the payout?

it's been a while and i don't post much to mylot anymore but i remember i made $10.61 in my first pay-out after doing 278 posts i believe. it wasn't that easy to make the first pay-out, as i only do a few posts whenever i log-on to mylot. i remembered the crunch time when it was the last day of my first month here (seems so long ago now), i was at about 230 posts and about $8 in earnings. i have set a goal that night to finish 50 posts hoping to reach enough for the pay-out. well, i didn't quite make the 50 posts, but made $2.44 that night. i've never done that again. it was the most i ever spent time in mylot and the most that i have posted. i had proven a point to myself and that is i could reach a pay-out if i had set myself to do it. and i've done it. the pay-out may seem the longest in coming, because you've been raring to reach it. just be patient. you'll get there in time. just enjoy. goodluck! :)

just a suggestion (from the things i learned from other mylotters who have been around longer here in mylot): when making quality posts, avoid one-liners unless it's just a sub-comment. discussions and responses should at least be a few lines. make a few comments to responses in your discussions. it separates the discussion from a Q&A. responders would appreciate that. rate the responses accodingly too (+-!). if you feel like it, award best responses. always do the tags. it helps a lot. make friends. add them to your list and try to respond to their discussions every now and then. :) last is to enjoy it here in mylot. :) goodluck! hope this helps... this may or may not increase your earnings, but they will definitely make your mylotting experience better. :)

thanks for the BR, truly appreciated. since i don't do a lot of posting in mylot, receiving BRs is something i don't expect, though i must admit that it's quite nice to have. :) it's several days still before the end of the month, i'll be cheering you on for your first pay-out. i was not able to mention before, but having referrals who enjoy mylot as you do, would be handy in increasing your earnings. i've only had experience of it recently. for a few months of being inactive here, earnings from an active referral added a few dollars on my account. not a lot, but helpful nonetheless. i was surprised that my referral became more addicted to mylot than i am, and enjoyed it just as much if not more. :) again, goodluck! :)

I think it's not so hard to make the payout, it may just take some time. I depens on the way somebody is. If you're talkative, you always have something to talk about, you know what to write and you write a lot. For me, I think, it would take some time to make the payout, because I'm quite shy and uncommunicative, but it was one of the reason of joining here, so I think, in the course of time I'll make the payout.

I've never counted how many posts I do. I'm not near my payout for this month either. I only have $5.39 and have to start getting on the ball for next months payout.
