help with twitter

i just joined twitter yesterday and its not working right for me and i cant seem to beable to get ahold of anyone to talk to about this, my ads are not showing up,i cant follow anyone it wont let me , so can anyone help me with this problem

I use Twitter frequently, and it is a great service for communicating as well as following world events and interesting people. I'm not sure what problems you're having, though, because setting up a profile and following people should be very easy, using their web interface. You may want to try using companion applications, such as TweetDeck and Twirl, which run outside your browser. There are numerous online tutorials on using Twitter, which give tips and guidelines.
