IPL venue?

Dont you think middle east was the most preferable venue after seeing weather in SA? I know someone can say this now, but dont you think sharjah, dubai, abu dhahbi could be considered for this event.

i understand your concern about the rains but there arent 8 stadium in the middle east so it would have a logistic problem..

Agree that there may be some concerns of ICC there and may be some other problems. But i dont think we must need 8 grounds for that tournament as you are out of india, in fact your are playing in SA at 8 different grounds but still no team have their home ground. so 3-4 groundsd in middle east were sufficient if considered. I m still happy for SA.

the weather gods have been a little unkind but i feel if there was any other place to play this tournament then india it was south africa only. although sharjah is a good place to play cricket it is still not a cricketing country as big bas south africa. and it would not have been possible to sort out the logistical issues as well. south africa is the perfect place to play t20 cricket and has all the facilities for the players and the players themselves seem happy to be playing in south africa.
