Has anyone experienced an issues with their Dell Ispirion Battery? My laptop stays on while plugged in, but no longer charges. It says that the battery and charger are not approved. But the charger and battery are the same that I got when I bought the computer. But now I can't charge my laptop. Has anyone else experienced this problem? What should I do?

I have got the exact same issue, I had warranty for 3 years and as soon as it ran out 1 month later I got this problem, I cannot unplug my computer as the battery will drain and I won't be able to use it again! It is a very high fault with Dell and, if you take out the battery plug and blow in it (the bit that attaches to your laptop) it may reboot it, it did this once for me but not a second time!
I rung up Dell who said I had to pay £29.99 for a technician to test my laptop over the phone to tell me it was a motherboard issue which would cost £500 for a new one, my laptop only cost me £600!! I said that was rediculous, he then said I could buy further warranty and I would get a motherboard free of charge but this costs £349.99 for 3 years!
I am tempted to accidently break it and get a new one under my house insurance lol
