Do you always try and say the nice thing?

I feel that I find nice ways of saying things to my friends. I don't sugar coat my opinion but I feel that I don't have to be mean when I talk to others. Before I say my opinion I like to think before I speak.
I feel that it works best for me. What about you? Do you think before you speak? Do you try and say the nice thing when talking to others?

I too try to avoid people that are saying hurtful things. Overall, I try and avoid negative people. If a friend of mine is taking the verbal abuse from someone I will not be nice, my claws come out and I defend my friend.

I try to be tactful when I am dealing with others. Each person with whom we meet is bristling with sensitive emotional antenna just as the nostrils respond to the fragrance of perfumes which may be present in the air. I am very mindful of every words that come out of my mouth. I think before I speak and this permit me to give others a shot in the arm as needed without letting them feel the needle.
