I love poems and would love to read others. Whether it is one you wrote or one someone else created. Please share all. Believe is one of my favorites that I wrote about my children. "My Precious Gifts"I have three things in my life more precious than gold They always warm my heart whenever it gets cold The smiles on their faces will light up your day Once those images reach your mind, they never go away The day they were born was the day we first met And I knew the beauty of their souls were like a summer sunset The love that they have and the bond that they share Anyone can see for one another they care Most times they're friends, but of course they still fight But then they make up with hugs and sqeezes so tight They're cute as a button, sometimes fresh as can be But I wouldn't trade them for the world, it's just them and me Sons, happy and handsome with the biggest brown eyes And their not shy, most of the time! She's petite and pretty with a smile so sweet They put a lock on my heart and they hold the key More precious than gold that is my sons and my daughter Forever in my life Cody, Meagan and Gavan

Hello Kmurphy, This is an excellent poem. I invite you to contribute it too my soon to be published book. Do you blog? Are you a member of entrecard? because that is how I compensate, by giving entecard credits (5,000 entrecard credits). if you're interested do send a PM through my home page. I like your poem very much. What I do is to feature the poem in my blog and then create a link to the author's blog. In August, I'll be coming up with a self-published book. There are already 16 entries I need 4 more, but no matter, Contributions will only be accepted up to May 15. You could read the rest of the entries here: http:gewgawwritings.blogspot.com God bless and cheers. An great poem.
