Just want to know how long it took for you to learn to drive and get your license
im still learning and dont think ill ever pass as i am very bad at it. The main problem is confidence, my knees start knocking each other out.

hi i really have the same problem as yours. I am learning how to drive but I feel a bit tensed dont know why. Like you I think confidence is the main problem. I would like to get licence as soon as possible so then I can buy a car. My job requires night shift and all the time someone has to take me to work or bring me back. I go to work with bus but during the night there isnt transport. I really wish to be independent but I am afraid of not getting the licence

Hi young lady,
Don't worry, you will make it for sure. Just keep trying and you will gain in confidence. I was lucky since I started driving at 8 years old on farm tractors.
At 12 I was driving cars, highly illegally, alone on quiet country roads in North Wales. I passed my test first go as soon as I was old enough. Good luck!.

Driving is easy. I learned to drive the moment I set foot inside a car... just push the pedal and turn the wheel. However, if you feel that you may not be able to do well on the test, it should be some comfort to you that I know many people (all females i might add) who failed their test but were passed anyway after they started crying. In fact, they purposefully went to the test all made up and nicely dressed, just so that if it came down to it, they could break down in tears for pity points. I have not heard of that method failing yet.
