Is it all over? Do you have a particular problem area?
Do you keep your home nice an organized?
My "problem areas" seem to move around. Right now the worst part of my house is the area between my computer monitor and my keyboard. Theres a pile of misc. papers in front of me. They've been piling up for about a month or two.
My dining room table is a problem right now too.
Sometimes I will clear it off daily and sometimes I will go a couple of weeks without clearing it off. Now, it's been a couple weeks. I really need to get to that soon. I am really not looking forward to it.

I have decided it is just like a woman's purse. If she carries a small one she make it work and just carries the bare necessities. But, if she has a large one she thinks the sky is the limit and lets it all congregate in her purse. I have seen it all. It can become very intimidating sometimes. I try to stay organized but it all goes down the tube when I fall into a depression. Then I couldn't care less where stuff goes.

lol I have been know to stretch out a purse to it's maximum capacity!
I tend to buy smaller purses because I don't want to cary around one that is too heavy (bad for your back) but I get medium to small purses and I stuff them!
I think I have a similar pattern to yours. I stay organized for a while, then I start slacking, then I get overwhelmed so I let it go even more, then eventually I get sick of the mess, so I start cleaning up again.

i used to do home organization for people. my home currently is pretty uncluttered except for my basement. my kids have stuff stored in my basement and it is out of control. i like to keep things organized but it is hard. there are four of us in this 3 bedroom house and i really don't have good furniture for storage or closets. i don't have a lot of "stuff" but it is hard to put things that we do need in a place where they are easily accessible. i cleanup daily and try to keep things from piling up.

Isn't it easier to get someone else organized than to keep yourself organized?? lol
I worked with a woman as her personal assistant a few times last year. We were working on getting her organized. It was strange having her pay me to help her organize while I knew my home was a huge mess.

I can't bear clutter! In fact because I have moved so frequently and realized I was carrying around from one home to another stuff that I haven't used or wasn't going to use I did a big 'purge' I got rid of tonnes of stuff either I donated it to charity or I just threw it away, I didn't need it. So now I go for the minimalistic approach where is less is better. I also make a conscious effort to file away all my important paperwork or statements etc so they are not just left lying around and besides the less clutter you have the less frustrations you have in trying to find something which is buried amongst the clutter!

there is no clutter for i hate it. our house is only small and we are plenty living here, so i expect them to tidy up anything and everything. but my main problem is the sink. sometimes they only wanted to drink but not wash the glasses that they use. and they know me i will nag about this. lol. so i know if they dont like to hear the nagging they should tidy up

Clutter is a part of my life. I have a 6 year old nephew. He is a very clever boy. He loves to play and his toys are all cluttered in the whole house and its not a big deal to me. He is starting to learn how to clean and pack up his toys. Cleaning is fun that is what I am trying to tell him and teach him how to clean up some mess. He is very cooperative. I love my nephew and clutter is one of the things we can share to learn.

Yes I have clutter in my home, I absolutely hate clutter but cannot seem to get rid of it. If I do within a couple of weeks it is back again. I hate paperwork, seems that paperwork is the bain of my life, I never know where to put it or what to do with it seems like there is too much stuff that I have to keep. I have a side in my kitchen and all the paper clutter seems to get dumped on there. Every so often I sort it all out and shred what needs shredding, I get really cross cos it seems like I am the only one that does it. My hubby dumps it there and comes up with the excuse well I dont know which bit to rip, more like an excuse not to do it.

I really think that the average person has areas that seem to collect more clutter than others, and always seem like they could use some straightening, dusting, or even a light cleaning. My main area that is always cluttered is my Computer desk. I got one of those that are circular and go around 2 walls for Christmas and it always seems to be quite cluttered. I clesn it off, and then a week later it is back to major cluttered, so I know where you are coming from there.

Sorry to say, but I am the QUEEN of clutter. My desk is a disaster area, my kitchen table is usually a war zone (just had company last weekend so I had to clean if off). The dresser in the bedroom... You name it, I've got clutter there. AND if I need to find something I can almost always lay my hands on it very quickly in all that mess...

My areas are similar to yours. My whole house seems cluttered lately...I haven't recovered from the visitors at Christmas yet and they were here again for Easter! My dining table around the laptop is always messy...I have a drinks trolley beside the table holding my printer and other computer "stuff".
The worst area though is the kitchen. I cannot get it neat, clean and tidy and keep it that way for more than 2 minutes...I'm terribly frustrated by it all.

The house that I’m living is not really messy or cluttered I think the only messy part of the house is my bed room (my bed in particular). When I’m still in University my bed is full of books, papers, drawings, plates and pencils. All are placed in the bottom of the bed so I still have a space to sleep to when possible. I tried to be organized and clean the mess but after a couple of days I’m back from being messy again. No matter how I try I can’t overcome this bad habit of mine. I don’t want to clutter in my bed especially now that I’m finished school there’s no reason for me to be messy.

I am a reformed unbearably neat person; now I let mail (my number one problem area) stack up until I cannot add another piece. LOL! I am just the worst when it comes to mail clutter. It is my personal belief that if you leave mail lying around long enough, it will multiply!

Clutter, wow, do I have tons of it. Between 5 people clutter is not scared of our house. I can't keep anything cleared off or have anything stay in it's spot. I will clean an area up and not even 5 minutes later there is a mess again. My hardest spot to keep clean in my house is actually my bedroom. My clothes along with my husbands don't ever seem to make it to all the dressers and my husband has a bad habit of just throwing his dirty clothes on the floor when the hamper isn't but 2 inches from where he put them. I don't understand that and I guess never will. Same for my dishes....clean the sink and 5 minutes later.....more dishes...aaaagggghhhh! When will it ever stop!! Heehee :)

I have clutter everywhere. I need to get it all under control. I really think that the big problem is that we have to much stuff for our tiny home. I need to learn to get rid of things we dont need anymore. Things pile so much then I get rid of them and I find another pile. This has motivated me to get working on a pile that has caused me problems. Thank you.

LOL our home is one big clutter and the most stuff around are books and toys. I am not a very organized person but when the cleaning bug bites me, I just tend to move the clutter around and it is still there, what ends up thrown out are junk mails and the like !

I clutter, but my Hubby never found anything or wrote anything he didn't save. Some times I think the only answer is to burn the place down and start over, This has taken us 50+ years and we know we don't have that many left so it could never get as bad as it is now.

Yes I am also troubled with some thing at my house about which I am always cleaning it.
Well after my graduation I have kept some books which might be useful in the future but they were never used and it has some dust over it because of construction of new apartment behind my apartment.
So there is daily some dust coming on it and I am tired of cleaning it every week but still the dust appears over there.

Generally I am a pretty organized person. The place in my house that is most disorganized is my office. There are boxes and boxes of paper work, orders that I still haven't procesed. Auction basket crafts all over....even just thinking about it is giving me a headache...LOL.
