Liquid Soap VS Bar Soap

I have read in article that liquid soap is not really that good for our skin. We are better off using bar soap. It said that when we use liquid soap, we tend to overuse it that results to a dry skin. And it mentioned that there is this chemical- I don't remember what anymore, that is not good for us. So, what do you think? What do you prefer?

its better to use liquid soap bec.the bar soap it cause itchi and dry skin

Well, the article said otherwise. That's why I am not sure which to believe now.

i use bar soap. i don't care for liquid. I use it on my back cleaner but that's lol i use bar soap for everything else. I like bar and i can only use dove soap. i have to be careful because of my skin. liquid probably is bad for our skin compared to bar soap... theres more stuff in it too
