Bored at home on weekends

im so sick of being stuck at home on weekends. i have a car, but my friends are always busy. what are some things i can do to make time go by faster, but also,to get a feeling of satisfaction at the end of the day. i hate it when after the entire day all i have to show for it is finishing a season of tv. also if my friends are available, what are some fun activites to do? bowling or movies are the only ones i can think of, and those have become kind of dull
