As a buddhist, i believe that there is a god name buddha. I believe in it. But as a people, a person that believe in science, i do not 100 % believe that there is a god. We can not mix what that are being told in our believe and science. Like is there a hell or heaven. Believeing in god is not bad. It can help to prevent us from doing something bad.

You are a new member of mylot so first of all welcome to mylot. Now taking about the god I really do not know whether god exist or not. This is one of the never ending discussion. But I can only say you what I feel about it. Look in the ancient when human have started their civilization then the brought the concept of god. They thought that there are some super power which will save them from natural calamities like storm, earth quack etc. That is why they started worshiping god. And the concept still going on. When ever we feel helpless, depressed then we call god to help us, save us. But when we are happy we forgot all about got. I personally feel that there is nothing what we call god. According to me we face the consequence of what we do. And if some thing is happening to you for which are not accountable for then its just your luck. I am confident about my self. I think only those person always blame god who are not confident enough. I thing confident people can any how make their way. Best of luck. Keep mylotting.

Wow I usually wouldn't step in on a discussion like this but I just couldnt avoid it. I personally think there is a GOD. I have made it through alot of things. For example my second child we named her Shamiracle this name was given before I gave birth to her. The doctor gave me Epideral which I didnt want anymore, and as soon as he left she came on her own. She flopped on the bed like a football. I was just thankful she didn't hit the floor even though she came very close. She had swolled her bowels and stopped breathing. Then her heart rate started speeding and they didn't know why. So I started praying and giving God all the praise I could give him. The nurse kept coming in and checking on me and asked me why I was so calm, and I told her I gave God the praise and I know he will take care of it. Not even five minutes after I said that I got a call to my room saying my daughter's heart rate returned to normal and she is doing just fine.
This is not the only time he has came through, but I know there is a God :)
