I would love to visit Scotland because I'm a big fan of Romance and Historical Romance Novels, and many of these take place in Scotland and Heavens wasn't William Wallace handsome? There's a lot of history there; a lot of bloody history between the Scots and the English. How awful the English treated the Scottish people; they were so persecuted. Imagine no wearin' of the kilts and no playin' of the bagpipes! All under English rule! I'd love to go there and see some of the famous battlefields and feel some of the history and perhaps some of the romance.

I also want to go to Scotland. My wish to go see this place is also because of the romance novels I read. I love reading historical romance novels. And you are right, most of them usually take place in Scotland and England. I want to be able to get a feel of these places so that I can visualize the settings in the novels when I read them.
