Now that Daniel Smith is acquitted I heard in the news today that he already flown to US or in the Military Base in Japan. No one can tell when he leave the Philippines. For me I think the victim don't want to pursue the case anymore because even if the suspect is guilty the court here can get the custody of Smith. What is your opinion regarding this matter?

I think we've just seen our p*ssy government kissed the a$$ of uncle sam. it was quite obvious our government show little support for our own, some even said that "she" might be just making this all up. there is one word you just wanna slap on their sorry faces that's "dignity".

Well I guess that is true, both the government is really not interested in pursuing the case anymore to not lose the current relationship the US and the Philippines have. We are solely depended on them economically and having Smith in our custody might just be damaging for the relationship that we have in them.
For the victim's side, why would you pursue the case if the government that should protect her doesn't even give her any support or protection as a victim of rape. Would you be interested in pursuing that you know that the government is mum about the case anymore. I might also decide not to pursue it anymore and choose to live my life peacefully.
