Question: Would you rather be rich or Famous? Why?

You think like me.I want to be a rich than a famous man.Like you I want to travel the whole world.I want to see desert,oasis,ocean,islands,long sea shore,mountains, forests,colorful birds , wild animals,water falls.For these requires lots of money.The life is one.So I want to see my beautiful mother earth with my full vision.

I think that I could do more with Money, than with Fame. With fame, there are many drawbacks. Having a good image, and if you do something 'wrong' your image would be tainted. Bleh. I dun wanna be famous. But with Money, I can be what I want, do what I want, and have some fun. Granted, I would use my Rich-ness to benefit others as well, but I would place enough away to make sure that I don't get in debt. With money, you could possibly start your own business, which in turn would get you more money, which would give you more options. Or, you could be selfish, and spend all your money on yourself. Charity is an option, though I don't know how many people might want to do that. People are pretty selfish these days. Anyways. Yeah. Give me the money, and I'll be on my way.

I'd rather be right. Because with money, I could do whatever I want. Being fame is kinda a nuisance in my opinion. I mean, look at the way the celebrities are treated, and the way that the paparazzi are all over them. I'd be afraid of doing anything for fear of making it onto the headlines in next day's news.

I would rather be rich to be able to do what I always wanted to do but with less money I couldnot. I want to travel, to help others, to open an orphanage. It is one of my dreams.

I would prefer to be rich, because i don't like fame... it makes you stay away from the family. I would prefer to be rich because we are al poor, we don't have a work and we need a lot of money!!

I would choose to be rich, I am an introvert so I do not enjoy the attention that famous people get. I would rather be a sort of secret millionaire, helping people who are less fortunate, enjoying a quiet life without media following me around. I don't like being known for security reasons also, I don't want the restrictions that are placed on famous people, I can't go shopping in the mall without people following me around or looking at me, watching my every move. I like the idea of being really rich but people do not know it. I don't intend to flaunt my riches anyway. For me being rich has a purpose and that is to be a blessing to other people, to use the money I have to help others.

Hello vivianchen, I would rather be rich instead of being famous. It doesn't really bother me whether I am famous or not. I don't like to live in prison - a very famous person until you can't go anywhere without being recognized! If I am rich, I can do whatever I want anytime, anywhere. But of course, happiness won't come with the money and again, if I have to choose between money and happiness, I will choose the latter

I choose wealth, since you do not give the third choice! Be RICH is much better than famous, the fame not belongs to the famous person but also known to everybody, so when this big person go out, like shopping, eating or else, he or she would be surrounded by many fans, reporters and common people, they lost their private time and space, I think the cost as a famous person is really too big and I would rather give it up.

I would rather be rich to give money to charity and poor people.I will use the money to build homes for people who have no homes and for the sick people who cannot pay their medical expenses.I would not want to be famous as we have to be under high security.Anybody can attack us for our money and run away.

I would always prefer to be rich rather than becoming famous. Because becoming famous will not give you financial popularity. Becoming rich is much better because of the fact than we can even be popular using that money

I'd rather be rich. I don't envy the famous. I would go crazy always being followed around and having everything I say be put into print out of context. It just seems so invasive and like you never get a break. I like to be able to run to the grocery store in baggy sweats without people commenting on if I'm hiding a baby bump!

I prefer to be rich, and I don't like to be famous so much. I can do anything with my money, but I can do nothing if my privacy is not always respected.

Both of them is important. But if have already get one of them, it will not be difficult for me to get the other one. If i am rich, i will use my money to do something benefits to the society and wi will be known by the society. If i am famous, everything i do will be look or followed by the other. it is mean that i will be more easy to do something or to have some job to make me rich.

Oho,I just wanna say it is a good question and a big question to answer.As we know,wealth and fame are both important for an individual.And,most of the cases,we could find the phonomino that,when you are a whealth person,and you wanna be famous.When you earn quite a big fame,you just neglect the weath.That is to say,the choice depends on the situation the choice-maker under.The routin plan is be rich and famous......(ming li shuang shou,in chinese)-----------earn both cash and fame!

i would agree with almost everybody on this discussion, I'd rather be rich, because in the instance that i wanted to be famous i can get that if i have money to invest in myself or whatever i want to do. You can be famous and broke, thats no fun! But i think the money offers better options than the fame because you can keep your life to yourself and still enjjoy all the things you want to enjoy with family and friends. And you can also help other people if you are rich, you cannot do that when your famous....

This question is a bit tricking in my opinion, because if your rich then you are famous. But again famous doesn't always mean your a movie star or anything. But when you rich and have tons of money, you sure aren't gooing to be able to be left alone. Someone is always bothering you about it. Get what I mean? Being rich turns you to being famous, being famous gets you rich! That is my outlook on the subject.
