Yusuf Pathan - India's Shahid Afridi

Watching him throwing away his wicket, I feel that Yusuf Pathan is our Indian version of Shahid Afridi. He could have stayed on the wicket for a longer period but he didn't. He threw his wicket away playing a rash stroke. He should have played with controlled aggression after the fall of 3 wickets. Boy, would he ever learn?

You have to accept his as he is. Some times he will play well and everyone will talk good things about him, while at other times he will fail and people will critisize him. No doubt both Afridi and Yusuf Pathan just give away their wickets sometimes, but thats just the way they play. I dont think Yousuf is the new Afridi. Afridi has a lot of talent, but he just inconsistent. Yousuf so far has been a lot more consistent. Afridi starts hitting sixes form the first ball. yousuf is generally a bit slower paced than Afridi when he starts batting. I think Yousuf should continue playing his natural style that has brought him so much sucess till date. Well one things for sure is that Yousuf knows what Mendis is bowling.

Can say he is bit like him, but not particularly what he is.. Afridi knows only one way thats bang bang, while Yosuf can adjust his game accordingly also he will be more consistent than Afridi. One can say both of them are good all rounders.. Afridi is a better bowler than him, while he is ahead of Afridi when comes to batting. Ya they are similar to some extent.

well that's the way he plays.you have to give him the silence.the day he will fire all other team will struggle.look at mendis how helpless he was looking when he butchered him in the super over.
