Still Married To The Same Girl I Married 27 Years Ago.

Never thought I would get married period, so you can imagine how thrilled I am to be married. But even better, as all our friends have long since divorced, we are still married after 27 years.
There have been some really rough spots in the road but that's life isn't it.
I'm a guy so I have done some pretty dumb things over the years but have always remained faithful, 100%.
We have one child, he is now 23 and if there were any reason to get divorced over the years it would have been because of son but love can conquer all, right. Well it did for us.
This was both our first marriage, and only marriage.
How about you, how long have you been married to the same person?

Congratulations!! I think that you are both exceptional people to still be together after all this time. I have been married more than once. The first time I got married WAY too young and it lasted (surprisingly) for 7 years. Now I have been married for 4 years and it is really hard work, especially since we are not from the same country.

That is wonderful, WebMann. I haven't been married as long as you have, but I hope my marriage lasts as long as yours and hopefully even longer. My husband and I have been married for 14 years (first marriage for both of us), though we've been together for the past 17. Like any marriage we've had our ups and downs, but we've stuck it out. It's not always easy, but that's part of marriage, I suppose.

wow. that's really good. i hope you continue to love each other. it's nice to hear these kinds of stories especially because what i commonly hear nowadays are negative things. i am not yet married but my parents have been married for 22 years.=D

I am really happy to see a man that he is happilly married even after 27 years of age. I have been 6 years married hope I will be married for life since I love my husband. Faith is the most important and divorce is increasing because unfaithfulness is increasing these days, which is a pity ruining these families.

Hello and thanks for posting. Congratulations on still being married to ur girl, as it's very hard in this day and time to remain married. As for me I have endured the rocky seas of marriage for 20 years now to the same guy...we have children together and nobody said that it would be easy but we've managed so far to hang in there. Can't say that it's all been good but we are still together and I'm thankful that I've been able to endure it for this long.
