The sun is shining and the birds are singing! Yay! It's been a long winter here with lots of snow and below zero weather and now to have a beautiful day and I don't know where to start my day
The yard needs work and I have spring cleaning to do. I feel like I should start but don't know where to start!
Do you have this problem when the weather is changing and you need to do outside work and inside work? Where do you begin? Do you just let the inside work wait and start outside?

Hey Zehphyr! I only have inside work so I don't have to make
the choice! I live in an apartment so my landlord does the
outside stuff! I just have to make up my mind that I am ready
to change the apartment over to the summer stuff! And thankfully
I have already started! I changed my closets last week from the
winter clothes to the summer clothes! Now I have to change the
curtains in the bedroom and do just a few more little things
and I'm ready! I wish I had the outside to do, but sadly the
landlord won't let anyone in the complex do anything outside
such as gardening! So I will just have to be satisfied with
being allowed to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine and warm
weather~

I sometimes wish I didn't have outside work but if I lived in an apartment I probably couldn't have my ducks LOL
This is about our first warm day so everyone still have all their winter clothes, if I remember correctly we had 6 inches of snow last year at the end of April. I don't see that happening this year but, ya never know.

I have been outside all day. It was getting pretty hot out there, about 83 (standard) and I got a lot done. I left scrubbing the bathroom up to my husband LOL

Of course I have this problem too!But I'm more lucky than you coz I am living in a department without yard. And I don't plant any flower or tree.So I won't have any outside work to do when the weather changes. But I do have some inside work to do.Just like i have to wash all my quilts and sheets when the sun shows up after a long rainy days.I'm living in a coastal city. And the floor is always wet in spring time.So I have to dry it everyday in the spring too.

Thankfully I am not in a coastal city but it does rain a lot here and the children, dog and ducks are always tracking in mud. I sometimes miss the days of apartment living when I didn't have to take care of my yard and now I have a huge lot with lots of grass and trees to tend to.

I don't have any yard work to do, I wish I did, I miss beautifying a yard. I guess start in the shade and work your way to the other side you're not directly in the sun all day.

My whole yard is trees and shade. Our house was built by someone that worked for the parks division and currently we have about 50ish trees in our yard that are as old as 100 years. We have about an acre so I have too much yard.

We had pretty great weather here too, today. It wasn't warm enough to sit outside at the coffee shop, but it was warm with no wind. The thing about the cafe is that the outdoor tables are in the shade. Had I been able to get a seat in the sun, I would have sat outside today.

By late afternoon it was 84 outside, sorry I don't know how to do the metric thing. It really confuses me. It was pretty hot after having below zero weather a lot of this winter. Hopefully soon you all will be having great weather too!

If I remember correctly you are in Ohio as well...It was just wonderful outside today. I'm in Toledo and this winter has been extremely cold and wet for us. There is so much to do after a wet winter and all the neighbors trash in our yard LOL

Hi
It is little difficult when the whether is getting changed. If kids also there it will add the works. Now here it is summer and we have already packed the winter dress. Actually it is hard work to get back the summer dress for kids and keep inside the whole winter dress. Kids are growing and this year’s dress will not be suitable for next year so we should check which is suitable and which is not. We should remove all the blankets and replaced with cotton sheets etc. But it is a fact after the change of whether we feel good especially after the winter.

That's what I have to do soon as well. We have very cold winters and everyone has to dress with lots of layers, the best part of summer for me is less laundry to wash. We leave the flannel sheets on until usually the end of May since it will still get to freezing levels at night.

I know exactly what you mean. The winter in my area was awful, freezing rain, snow and very below zero temps. Good luck on your outdoor work!

I never really thought of it that way before since in my area of the US sunshine is limited LOL
