Okay I've been thinking of the best linkin park song that I can do a cover for but I can't decide. But in your opinion what is the best linkin park song you've heard of and what is your interpretation of it?
Example: "Shadow of the day" - sounds like it's about loss and feeling lost (I think in my opinion but I haven't read the lyrics throughly to determine that I'm not 100% sure).

I've got to say, its hard to pick, but I really love Numb, and almost everything off the first album. Not really huge into the latest work, but "Shadow of the Day" is good. Just not really Linkin Park.
BTW, have you heard of Fort Minor? It is more of rap by the asian guy in the group. Good music.

Linkin Park is definitely one of my fave band. The genre of their songs are quite related to rock metal but the lyrics has a one of a kind meaning especially their "My December", "In the End", "Somewhere I belong" and "Numb". I really like those songs i actually come to memorize and learn how to do the growling thing but i have had a hard time because my throat couldn't take it.
My December is a song that portrays of having your last days. It is a melancholy with full of emotion and it really suits for those who felt like they were perishing.
In the End is also a great which a hard touch of guilt and fury. Like he was absolutely blaming the one whom he trust all the time. Somewhere i belong is a song seeking for sanctuary after get hurt and dumped. "Numb" is a song for cold blooded relationships out there who feel that their love is just fading slowly.
