I toss my wings in salt, pepper and garlic powder, then flour, and then deep fry in canola oil for 8 minutes. But the sauce I put on is the real winner!
I take a can of chipotle peppers, 1/2 cup of honey, 2 ancho chilies (sp), an entire jar of pre-made hot sauce (Texas Pete works well), a whole onion (chopped), an 8oz can of crushed pineapple, an entire head of garlic (peeled), and simmer that in a big pot on the stove for around 45 minutes. I'll let it cool for 20 minutes or so and then toss it in the blender and blend until smooth.
After putting back on the stove, I'll throw a stick of butter in it and mix until melted.
Toss it on the wings for the best flavor ever! :D

I made it before without the honey or anything sweet, and it was WAY too hot! lol
I think the combination of flavors gives a nice balance. And it makes a whole lot of sauce. You can use it for wings forever! The vinegar and honey will never go bad. You can keep this sauce in the fridge for 4 years if you wanted.
I also like to mix up some sausage and eggs and put them on a corn tortilla and top with this sauce. It's so good!
Hope you enjoy! You can definitely toy around with the recipe and find the right balance of flavors. :-)
