I have a MyLot Nanny

I have a MyLot Nanny who monitors the amount of time I spend here on myLot. She is very concerned that I don't spend enough time doing other things, like playing and cooking. She may look harmless, but if I type too fast, I'm apt to get my hand slapped. And if I don't type enough, she thinks I've gone to sleep and I usually end up with a cold nose in my eat and a musical purring sound. Does anyone else have a myLot Nanny too?

Yes, and he insists on pretending to cry until I pick him up. And of course as soon as I do pick him up, his tail wags and it's like nothing every happened. He knows that fake crying bit will do it every time. But just now he jumped off my lap. I guess something better came along.

Yes, that crying and wimpering, along with those sad eyes can make us do just about anything they want. We are totally under their spell. I remember trying that as a kid, but not having as much success as Tukay does. How about you?

My myLot bouncer - Moochie! Who else?
I dread the day when my myLot bouncer and your myLot nanny will meet. lol! He sleeps right beside me at night while myLotting. Just to make sure nobody gets near me especially at night when burglars are lurking. He's so macho. lol! Well your nanny is cute but i prefer Tukay over the nanny.

Well, Moochie got into a fight with a much bigger dog around the neighborhood. My sister my screaming to the top of her lungs because she thought Moochie might die. My mom was separating them but the other dog was just too strong. Moochie got hurt because he was bit on the neck. He also lost a tooth. Moochie never backs down even if the enemy is much bigger. He is ok now and he's being pampered like a baby. I saw a tear on my mom's eye. I'll tell Moochie about the best response. Thanks!

Between the two of them, they would be pretty dominant, wouldn't they? We would certainly be well watched, that's for sure. Love the pictures of Moochie, he always looks like he's smiling at some private joke. You'll be happy to know that all 20 Lbs of Buttons (the nanny) is bossed around by my 7 Lb Tukay. They all get their share of love and affection, but it's funny to see how they relate to each other.

I frequently have a MyLot office assistant who will help me clear my desk if I am not careful. He is on a sunshine break right now, outside because of good weather. Usually as soon as I am home he is here.

Any assistant who helps clear the desk is worth his weight in gold! On my last job, there were days that I would have paid well to borrow him. Maybe he should give you a hand so that you have a chance to go enjoy that good weather too.

I see a pattern here. Here you are, minding your own business, typing away in myLot. Suddenly Coconut bursts out barking, levitating you right out of your seat. Then she looks at you with those sweet eyes, as if to say, "Sorry mom, didn't mean to do that. While you're up, wanna go for a walk?"

Tabby - My computer monitor! LOL
I'm not so sure that mine is harmless! LOL She likes to lay under the computer desk and bite my feet! She wants all the attention and wont stop until she gets it! Just like me.... a woman on a mission! Love your monitor...very pretty!

Ahhhh....so THAT's where the term ankle-biter comes from! Hahaha. Must be like resting your foot next to a nice, warm fuzzball - only to find that it's a cactus. Your monitor is so cute, I bet she's quickly forgiven.

Once I get going here each day, it would be easy for me to still be sitting here at bedtime...lol. My cat makes sure I at least take time out for her. It was nice during the winter having her sitting on the desk because she generates a lot of heat. Now that it's getting hot, I wish she acted like an air conditioner...lol

Hi. No I don't have a nanny looking after my mylot participation and I guess it is for good. At times you might not feel like being here and in those times if you are pushed to participate then your original thoughts might not come out.

Hi! How are you? Haven't seen you for a while and hope everything is going well. In your reply, you echo my kitty's/nanny's thought exactly. If your thoughts can't come out, you are left (it is hoped by the cat) with nothing to do except eat, play and sleep. In a cat's mind those are the most important things, right?

Awww--your mylot nanny is a beauty. Well even though I have two kitties, nope they pretty much stay away from me when I'm at the computer, yet my one kitty Kissy likes to get my attention if I'm in front of the computer too much by reaching up from the floor and paws at my thigh, looks at me with sad eyes, meows as if to say "Okay, mom, enough of that darn computer and pay attention to me...ain't I cute, mommy?"

You have to know that it's a conspiracy! When Kissy's efforts get you away from the keyboard, Pye gets to sneak in for a little myLotting too. Ooops...I wasn't supposed to say anything about that. Forget everything I just said...lol.

She does. And when she can't she gets a friend to do it for her. I am very lucky! LOL.

Absolutely! And I'm willing to bet that your myLot nanny does an excellent job. It's so important to be reminded that there's a world outside of myLot, at least until we sit back down at the computer the next day. GETE (Grinning Ear To Ear)

Thats funny and sweet...No I don't have a Mylot nanny, I probably should, I need someone to monitor how long I'm on here and make me go and do things that need to be done, like housework, Mylot is too addictive..lol

Housework? Mostly they remind us of important things like playtime and good food. Although they do sometimes help with the housework too. a few sweeps of the tail can move a lot of dust.

I have 2 MyLot nannies (sort of) One is an 11 year old female who helps me type by walking across a keyboard (have sent off many unwanted invites and forward to people this way...LOL) or she just lays on the keyboard. The other is a male 16 month old who likes me not to type...LOL My 16 month old will just stand there in between me and my keyboard and meow at me until I either pick him up and give him a cuddle or put him on the floor or the chair beside me. I don't think I can add pics yet on my responses, but I did add some to the pics on the discussions. I love all the animals. They are all adorable :)) photos. Guibosche and Lucky

It certainly seems like a tremendous effort is going into your training...lol. My previous cat liked to walk across the keyboard too, and always managed to hit the 'enter' key at the end of her walk. More than once I had to apologize to people who thought that I'd sworn at them. Once or twice I didn't bother apologizing, i took it as karma at the time...
