What was the first computer or internet game that consumed you (Work and Home)

We are talking about ANY type of game that kept you from doing much for that 2 hours at work. Or a game that kept you up all night.

My worst home addictions: Doom, Rise of the Triad, NHL 97 for PC, Rainbow Six/Rogue Spear, Counter Strike, Quake III RA3, Battlefield 2, Call of Duty IV

I wasn't a guy who spent his time playing PC games.. But only until I installed Grand Theft Auto III (GTA-III). Recommended by a friend, once I installed it and started playing, to my surprise, I became addicted to it. Passing the missions became a zeal and took the most priority spot in my leisure. I spent hours continuously sitting on my PC with this game.
The next game that swept me away with it was IGI. I spent several sleepless nights before I completed this game.
Apart from these two games, I have managed to keep myself away from this dangerous addiction

I was playing games some years before but that time I was realy addicated to two games that are IGI and another one was Hitman. I was playing again & again and wasting 2-3 hours easyly to play.
