I just read a great quote: "Travelers never think that THEY are the foreigners". Have you ever complained about a place you're visiting because it's not like home? Or do you really enjoy experiencing what's different about another culture and try new things?

I really enjoy visiting places that are different from my home, and I would never complain that things weren't like home, on the contrary if everything is like home it is a little boring. To me one of the best things about travelling is the chance to experience a place that is very different from the places I already know. The more different the better I also like to visit a country where I don't speak the language, because it is an interesting challenge to communicate with the locals and find busses, trains, hotels etc despite the language difference.

I really enjoy being able to experience other cultures and places. Every where you visit has it's own history to learn about. I moved to the states from Canada, and when I arrived in the US, boy was I excited! History is a great thing to learn and understand. I am always up for new experiences
