Having a close and loving group of friends who are there for you, who are supportive all the time is a blessing. studies shown that those who live alone die sooner than those who live with others. without others in our lives, we are lost. loneliness is the most detrimental emotion we can experience and social isolation can have an impact on our health. the key is being involved with others. so we need each other. we don't physically depend on one another for survival, but our spirits do. we need to feel that there are someone who care about us, who will be there for you in good times, in hard times. they never leave your side even in the worst of circumstance. being involved with a circle of friends means bonding and filling your life with others and the activities that give you the sense you are part of something larger than yourself. being with friends gives you something you can rarely get by yourself, validation. being with a long time friends creates a powerful connection. a group of supportive friends can be like our family.

I've got a great set of friends. They have been really supportive while I have been battling Multiple Sclerosis. I haven't been driving so they come and pick me up. Many of them do some chores for me to ease my work load. They have been really great. I am so very thankful for them.
