How many match won to enter semifinal in IPL ??????

In the ipl each and evry team need points to enter semifinal.What is the minimum point to enter semi final ??.How many matchs in the IPL and how much point to given to the won team.

i think this time it would be 8 wins to be safe

Each team is going to play 14 matches in the first round and though it is not fixed but if a team gets to 15 points then they can assure them self about a semis berth. That is 7 to 8 matches won in the first round as all the matches are of 2 points.
