Need new lunch Ideas.........
Hi there, one of my favorite lunches is a turkey sandwhich......either on wheat or rye bread. I normally go for the healthy stuff. Lettuce, tomatoe, pickles and a little mayo.... also a dab of swiss cheese...... The hubby might like this one.
For the picky eater cheese is usually a good choice. Grilled cheese sandwiches is usually a big hit with kids.
Lately I started fixing a recipe of my own. I took some left over boiled , baked or broiled chicken, chopped it real fine. Chopped up some onions really fine added a tad bit of cheddar cheese. Than added in some finely chopped cabbage. A tiny bit of salt and pepper, then wrapped it up like in an egg roll wrapper..... and put it in the oven to bake about 15 minutes. Left the dish sitting on my stove, came back after a few hours and the dish was all clean....... I think it must have been another big hit. Good luck with trying these ideas on ur family. When all else fail you could always go back to PBJ.

I'm not sure how well it would last, depending on where they put their lunches and what not - but I absolutely love things like pasta salad or do something like a chicken salad sandwich. Those tend to be pretty healthy as well. I guess it all depends on what their favorite things to eat are. I know for the younger kids its harder to figure out something and sandwiches always tend to be the best because they can last the school day.

Fruit Burritos!!!!!
Take a tortilla and spread cream cheese on it. Then top it with a mixture of sliced fruits, nuts, raisens.......whatever your son likes. Then roll it up!!!!
You can also substitute peanut butter for the cream cheese.
This is a healthy protein filled lunch.

I pack my fiancee and I lunches every day, for work. So here are some suggestions! I try not to pack sandwiches all week long. I like to switch it up between sandwiches, salads, and leftovers. Some of the sandwiches I make are ham or turkey and spinach, and tuna fish. We love eating salads with tuna and almonds. I also love packing up our leftovers from the night before's dinner for lunch the next day. Sometimes I'll just cook something extra while I'm cooking dinner the night before. For example I will make brown rice and add in black beans, diced tomatoes, and some other veggies. It's delicious all mixed together. Some of the things I include in my daily lunches are cottage cheese, pudding, granola bars, hard boiled eggs, almonds, etc. Good luck!!
