advice in discussions

There is a great deal of advice being passed from person to person here on myLot, so I was wondering if anyone has ever taken any advice from a fellow myLotter and had a remarkable change in life (weither it be good or bad)? What is the best advice you have gotten or given on this site and do you feel like you are helping others by posting here?

I spend a lot of time trying toadvice the newer usershow to get the best from the time they spend here on myLot and some have heeded my tips and have been very happy after doing so.
I also did a discussion which spoke of how we spend Saturday evenings, whether we dress up, go out or stay in. One response spoke of spending Saturday evenings at home doing nothing special and it was just like any other night of the week. I suggested setting the table a bit differently and adding a candle on Saturday nights to make it special. The user did this and came back to inform what a success it had been and this is something I will always remember 
I have learnt many things too and one of the more recent was the many things that eggshells can be used for that I was unaware of.

I have participated giving my little and simple advices on some discussions but i have not really tried seeking one for my own problems. I am living a happy life right now that i can't think of any particular personal problem that deserves being posted here. Maybe later when i get enough courage to add anything of value then i may start another topic. 
When it comes to needing tips about mylot there is one member who is quick to respond to my queries. It seems she has all the answers to everybody's questions concerning mylot! She is the very reason i am here in this discussion now. I am following her around trying to find out what makes her tick! I'm sure you know who i am referring to... she's one of those you have awarded the BR! Listen to her, she's got loads and loads of secrets on how to earn friends and many more... you won't miss that yellow thoughtful intelligent looking creature... it's very easy to spot her... try following her, too ... she's fun!

Well, I have been a member of myLot myself now for over 2 1/2 yrs. I can honestly say that I have learned a lot of things and had some great suggestions pointed out on things here as well. As for something I have learned from, and gotten to be a better person from, I am not sure what, but I am sure if I thought about it, there is quite a bit here for sure. It just depends on what things you are really willing to put to use on.
