That's about the dumbest thing I have ever heard of.....why take it out of the usa? why give the procedes it generates to a foreign country when it's one of our national sports? If they decide to do that you want to hook up together and go call on the idiots who decide this?????

Sure and I Know we will not be alone. There will be protests and if this goes through, there will be more people watching the game at home than in the stadium,But then again maybe no one will be up to watch it. the last time I checked , London is 6 or 7 hours away from New York Time, and so far away from Hawaii.so they could have a half full stadium and about half of the viewrship at home. It is just Stupid.

It makes a lot of sense. The pound is stronger than the dollar. Not to mention that every game they have played over there has sold out the same day the tickets have gone on sale. At the end of the day the Euro is stronger than the dollar. The bottom line is money. What a lot of you don`t realize is they do play american football over there. It won`t be just Brits at the game but alot of people throughout Europe will be there as well. Will it have the same appeal as being played in the US no. But Germany has a very good football league as wellas Sweden. I had a chance to see both of them play in the World Cup of American Football a year ago. Also Japan has a very good team. I think many of you would be surprised to see how popular american football is around the world.

Call me a little sensitive but The Super Bowl just isn't just a game, It is The Game. Many Americans plan to go and see it live, Since the dollar is so low, how can Americans get to see the game live? IOt is a religion here. There are many whpo would love to se it live. Whatever city that hosts it, the natives have the best chance to see the game. That's why it should be in the Ststes. If thw HFL owners are that greedy, why hot have a the last regular seasoon fgame.

I grew up in the south. Played football all my life. Hell, my dad was a football coach. I know how football is viewed back home. However, the fact still remains it is a business. People are looking to make money anyway they can. We can get upset and argue all we want but if the powers that be want to play it where they think they can get more money they will.

I don't give a rat's rear end if they play our football over there--the fact is, it will never become the spectacle that soccer is, so why should we take our hard-earned money and pump up their economy when we should be pumping up our own economy with aforementioned money?

That doesn't make a lick of sense to me. I am not a Brit, but I am one of those people who really does not like football. I think the biggest game in any sport should be played in an area where that particular sport is most popular. This is the first I've heard of this. Maybe I'll hear it on the BBC tonight.

over here in The States Football isn't a sport , it is a religion. And I assume Futbol, or what we Yanks call soccer is a religion in the U.K.Nothing will change this and that's okay.Moving the Super Bowl to London , is like having the final of TChelsa and Liverpool in L.A. It doesn't make sense.

Why on earth would we have a Super Bowl in a foreign country? Keep it where it belongs--in the USA. No offense to those in England, but the Super Bowl has always been played in the U.S. and should continue to be played in the U.S. Besides, so many people over there can't stand us, so why should we go across the pond and patronize their stores and businesses?
