We are going to have a heat wave for the next couple of days. Spring is a great season but you never know what the temperature will be like from one day to another! This is especially true in New England. Today it was 30 degrees this morning and 70+ this afternoon. Tomorrow through Monday we are supposed to hit the high 80's! Break out the shorts! I have to work until 3 on Saturday and Sunday. The places are likely to be stifling! I really don't mind the heat, but I like to be able to breathe!

Hey jill! I am answering this discussion on Saturday so right
now the temp is 89 degrees! Now that is definitely not normal
for this time of the year! But, then again nothing about the
weather has been normal lately! It is really hot now! But,
the in a few days it will go back down to the 50's! So I also
don't know what to think! And you say that snow is headed your
way! That is totally insane!

We are finally experiencing hot weather. I love it. I can always get cool but can never get warm enough. My feet even stay cold in the summer unless I am outside in the sun. We are finished with snow, thank goodness. It's onto the terribly hot weather now. We may have a few days still in the 70's. The lawns and trees are beyond the budding stage. I see leaves now.

Fire! Fire! Fire! Ten nights ago when we were all in bed, Grandma kicked the lantern in the shed....Okay, I'm done. Yes, it IS hot. I walked a mile tonight, and even though I waited until the sun was setting, it was still humid. It was cool last week, and the week before it was very very cold. But I think we really are in spring now. It has been hot and humid and I think we have more of that coming up. Hello tornado weather!

It is because of climatic change jill.
where I live we had a hurricane in December - that is way out of hurricane season. This has never happened before. The climate is topsy turvy and the melt down of the ice caps is scary because it is happening at a far faster rate than anicipated. What we will increasingly see is some parts of the world becoming desert and other parts will experience severe flooding. We use to have May rains and October rains and these are practically non existant now. We have rain any old time. Blessings
