I am a cellphone addict. I never turn it off even when I am asleep or when I am in a place where cellphones are prohibited. I just turn it to silent mode when cellphones are prohibited. My cellphone is beside me all the time. Wherever I go, my cellphone is there. My cellphone is with me even if I am eating, cooking, taking a bath and even using the toilet. One time, my cellphone was snatched. I was not able to get it back. Good thing I have another phone to use. Basically, I can say that I can't live without it. I just can't. My business is dependent on my cellphone. Most of the times my partner is away, communication is very important. For me, I can't imagine a day without a cellphone. How about you?

I am totally opposite of you. I go DAYS and DAYS without using my cell phone or answering any calls. I actually don't like being "reach-able" 24/7. I guess it adds to my mystery or something.

Well I can live without it due to the fact I am now 52 years old and January 2008 was the first time I purchased one. I sometimes totally forget about it and leave the house without it.

I think you believe in its usefulness because you manage to purchased one.

It is hard! One day, I left my phone and I am waiting for important calls and they can not reach me. I need to contact people but I can not do it. I had my notebook with me and I went online, some of them are online and trying to contact me but I told them that I left my phone. I can not even contact my wife and I have to call her using my friend's phone. Good thing that I memorized her number. I hate it and I don't want to happen again. Now, I make sure that my phone is with me. I had more than 50 missed calls and uncountable text messages that day.

So amazed that you can live without the cellphone. Well I think if there's no cellphone, maybe you would be sitting beside the telephone all day. lol. Since you are a cellphone addict at any time or place, I would tell you, the cellphone does harm to you everyday. You know the radiation of the cellphone? Hope you konw it. Yes, I agree with you to some extent that the cellphone is of great importance in communication. Using it as a convenient tool is one thing, but the disadvantage is another thing. You just had a look over the good aspect and neglected the bad aspect. I do have my cellphone with me all day, with ON status, but now, when I get to my place, I just put it aside near my hand. Why? It's a way of keeping the radiaction away as possible. Here you may just copy my way towards the radiaction. In a word, the cellphone itself is okay, and the point is the way how we use it. Am I right there? lol

I used to have this addiction with my mobile phones - I couldn't leave the house without it. My phone and I, we're inseparable. High School.. College... My mobile phones go with me where ever I go. However, this phase had its end. When I started working, I seriously got to a point wherein I would switch my phone off. My bosses would either call me even at unholy hours of the night. Not only that, they also call or send me a text message on Sundays and holidays. I felt that this was too much. So I make sure that as soon as it is after office hours, my office phone cannot be reached. When I got sick and had to go on a sabbatical leave, I got a new number so that people from the office can't reach me. :D

I live without one everyday. I don't even own one, I don't know why I guess its because I fill like if someone needs to get in touch with me they can call my house. now someone like you that has to depend on their cellphone because of business that's a different story, I would say you need it with you were ever your at. But the ones that don't depend on one and are talking on the phone every were they go, I just don't see any since in it.

Hi Yonkie. Same with me, my day will not be complete without my cellphone. I am working in a bank, that's why cellphone is very important for me. Everyday, I will call clients, inform them of their maturity of placements and other financial concerns. Some clients wants them to be personally called and they want to be called using my own number and not any land line that they cannot see the number or the number is new to them, so I have to use my own cellphone number to call them. It is a necessary thing for me in my work. As for everyday use besides my work, I always bring my cellphone when I go out, go shopping or malling. But when I am at house I just left it in our room and check it from time to time if I have any messages. When I am sleeping, I have my cellphone besides me and it is always on. Usually when there is work in the morning I use my cellphone to be my alarm clock when I go to work. So it it always on every night.

I'm able to go on for days without cellphones. It gets to my nerve whenever my cellphone rings more than 2 times a day.

It terms of usage, its really helps us a lot. It gives a big contribution in communication technology in the world. Because of it, we can quickly communicate with our relatives and friends. But, the abuse of its usage will give us a real headache. Anyway, for me I can live without it. There will be other means of communication other than that.

i am not a cellphone addict as we could say it, its just that cellphone is a need nowadays. so for me a day without a cellphone is like living alone. cellphone became our link from everybody so its importance has increase tremendously. people today wanted things to be easy, just a text or a call would make things easy.

cellphones! it used to be the biggest craze here in the Phil. However, i think its still not declining. maybe because of the rise of china phones which look like the orginal ones. i do have 2 phones with me and i go with it all the time. I believe that we need to be reachable nowdays though sometimes its kinda an advantage if you are hard to reach. hehehe. i dont give out my landline number though. so it'll be more peaceful at home. =)

Me too. I do not give my landline at home. I also have two phones. One is for work and the other one isn't. I plan to change my work number when I get a new job.

I have a cellphone but don't really use it..I can surely live without it like a week. I don't need it...the only function I usually use is...to know what time it is. Sometimes I also write sms but for the rest, I don't really need it because I don't know what I should really use it for. I mean when I am at home I don't want to waste the money so I rather go on my pc and write with those people I want to talk to via MSN or something. It's cheaper and yes...I don't know...actually it would be cheaper to just buy a watch then...better investment but I also want to be reachable 24h a day...but on the other hand I always have the sound off...strange isn''t it? I am just too weird..

I usually do not bother much about my cellphone, the reason being i sit in office for nearly 12 hours a day and then when I come bak I am completely tired to check. On weekends I always keep it with me.

What is my day like? Absolutely normal. I use my phone so rarely I wonder why I even have one. Seriously, the most common use my phone gets is me playing a game on it. I guess the only real reason I have one is in case of an emergency and I need to get help or something.

I have no such kind of problems because I don't have any personal mobile phones. Its important in out life for better communication and quick way of reaching people. My company has provided my mobile for business work. So I used to engage with my mobile even I was at office or home. Yes, mobile phone is very important to me to communicate easily.

I can absolutley agree with you I can not live with out my self phone. One day I was half way to work and relized I forgot my cell phone I din't care if I was late for work. I went back home and got it. I can't go any where with out it. My brother is the same way he sleeps with his right next to him. It's almost like it is my life line. If I don't have it I am going to panic.
