Spain are currently listed 1st in the FIFA world rankings and have stormed pass all the teams in the Euro's last year so do you think Spain have what it takes to win the World cup?
I know they certainly have the players Puyol,Xavi,Iniesta,Marcos Senna,Torres,David Villa,Ramos etc. but do they have the mental strength to win the Biggest cup in sporting history?
This came to my mind when i remembered that Fabregas article where he believed Spain can claim the World cup.
Please share your opinions and the please include other nations you believe could win the cup.
thanks Mylot soccer group.

Yes I think but this year the best teams in the world are Argentina, Spain and Brasil, but Spain is favorite because they won the European cup and they didn't lose a match in the qualification for the fifa world cup so I think they are favourites.

i want to say no to this question.though Spain have so many excellent players, but they have no character for the champion, and meamtime be lack of experience of world cup comptetition except for era of Eusebio.as a whole,i felt Spain shows a bit weak in terms of kick-style.From another angle,Germany looks more better than Spain, they have more stronger body and more iron nerves.it is so called "inside information"what exactly the lack to the Spain.

I agree, that is one of Spain's Drawbacks and compared with Germany i think Germany show character in these major tournaments and are always favourites they have reached alot of finals and have won the world cup a few times and this is what Spain lack when on the big stage.

Track record of Brazil, Argentine makes them favourites of many people. But spain is one of the favourites in this world cup, they are a young team, most of them have been performing well in different leagues. I am not sure, but they can do it, bcz they surpassed european power houses in last euro cup. They can do it in world cup.

Following there success in the Euro Championship Spain have got to go into world cup as favourites and if they play to there potential i cant see anyone stopping them as they have an amazingly talented side. That said under Capello England look organised and although not great to watch they are winning games and of course never write of Brazil as they just have so much quality.
