How many of you my lotters are tired of crappy customer service? I was at the store today and the check out girl was rude, and unfriendly. She didnt smile or greet me. I tried to say how nice of a day it was and she rolled her eye's!! What ever happened to the customer's always right? You are lucky to get any help much less with a smile. What is your wors customer service exsperience?

I meet such crappy customer service a couple of times. That includes a sales girl that tailing me around the store with a sour face. Not only I was bothered by her following me like expecting me to steal something, her face pissed me off too. I left the store without buying anything. I prefer to find my stuff somewhere else.

Wish i could do that. I live in the middle of nowere and the store i use is the closest and that is almost half an hour away. I have to plan on a trip to a wall mart cause its even farther. So I am stuck with these people. And ya know what they are stuck with me also lol. make me to mad and i will say something ;)

Having been on both sides of a counter I can say that to me customer service is very important, but it is never what we as the customer think. When I worked at a truck stop I took it one customer at a time, you never knew what was going to come in the door. I remember a day that was great all day until a costomer came in and literally threw a gallon of injector cleaner at me, it hit me but did the boss say anything? NO. It ruined the rest of my day. I was incapable of even speaking more than the tatal for the costomer because I would have either cried or been extreamly rude.
I have decided that it is often what happened before I entered the store that determines the quality of service I recieve and so I do not take it personaly. I try to provide good customer service to the person helping me, they need a good laugh. And if I can get out of them what horrible thing happened I will often go to the manager a complement that employee for working so hard.
As for your cashier, her job sucks, her boss probably yelled at her earlier in the day for something that she did not even do. She was putting in her time to do her shift and get paid so she could leave.
I no longer think that the customer is always right. I worked in the mall to long to even pretend that anymore. If you have ever worked a job like that then you would know that people try to take advantage of everything by using that saying. I hate to be cynical about it but the cooporation is always right, that is why McDonalds will not refund your money at the store, and why Wal Mart can get away with paying its lower level store managers 50 cents more than the regular employees.
As far as a horrible experiance, I have never had an experiance with customer service as bad as some of my experiances working a register having to deal with costomers who think that they are the center of the universe and that every thing that has gone wrong with their visit is my fault.

I worked in customer service myself years ago, probably close to 8yrs. But i remember that if a customer got mad you got in trouble. Doesnt seem like that any more. Also I agree that some customers are jerks, have delt with them in the past. But i am always nice to any one in a service position cause i have been ther. Just seems like the last few years no one care's abought us the customer any more.
