I am engaged and we stay in other cities

Hi, I an engaged and we both stay in different cities. He is working there and his home town is somewhere else. I am working and staying here in other city with my family. Sometimes due to work pressure he doesn't get time to call due to which i get frustrated. I don't want that by any means we encounter differences in our relationship. Will you all suggest me what to do?

Hi dia8497! Welcome to MYlot! The best part of a distance relationship is you miss the person a lot! ITs a nice feeling but like you complain when you dont get his call you feel irritated! Remember,do not ever do this mistake of waiting for a call. Just live life in your own flow so that his calls are more of a happy surprise than a result of long wait! The more you think ,the more you would become crazy! Also,keep messaging him ,not like a robot but once in a while! And dont expect his replies.He may be busy to reply sometimes but he is reading your messages! --- And above all,When you meet up ,make sure its a lovely fun filled vacation in a place where just the two of you enjoy! You will cherish each other more! --- Gud luck!

But if I'll not call or even don't expect a call don't you think we both will become use to it, which would create differences in future, may be our love life will get effected by it and we are not into loving each other that much as we use to do earlier.

Do you really the person you're engaged in? What do you think are the possible things that might happen if you're situation today is the same when you are married. I really don't know your situation right now but those questions might help you. God Bless.

Just keep yourself busy while you wait for his call. At least if you are doing something to, you wont get frustrated if has not call you yet.

Well is there an alternative way for you guys to communicate? Like msn or skype or something. If he has a computer at work it is one way he can contact you without having to call even if it is a quick hey. Talk to him about it. Me and my fiance are doing long distance right now as well it is the toughest thing. But ours is forced upon us the goverment won't let us together until he has a fiance visa. He is from canada.
