I have always thought that I knew most of the songs recorded by the Beatles, but I have just downloaded the Magical Mystery Tour from iTunes, and thought I would look at just how many songs I have got by the Beatles in my collection.
It turns out I now have 26 albums and 594 songs. Whilst I realise that on the Anthology albums some of those songs are repeats and spoken word rather than songs it seems that the Beatles were even more prolific than I thought and there were songs that I didn't know the Beatles recorded.
On the Magical Mystery Tour for instance I know All You Need is Love; Penny Lane; Strawberry Fields; Hello, Goodbye; I am the Walrus; Fool on the Hill; and magical Mystery Tour - but didn't know about baby You're a Rich Man; Your Mother Should Know; Blue Jay Way; Flying;
So do you still find new songs by the Beatles? and what's your favourite song on the Magical Mystery Tour?
Mine is Fool on the Hill, although Strawberry Fields and I am the Walrus do push it close.

The Beatles are my all time favorite. Fool on the Hill would be my favorite on that album. Although I like them all. Sargeant Pepper's Lonely Heartsclub would be one of my favorite albums. I love anything by the Beatles.
