Do you take the time to look at member profiles??

not always. whenever i receive a friend request, i'll take some time to look at their profiles, check out some of their discussions and also their mylot activity. then, i approve and add them to my list. to some extent, if any of their discussions i find interesting, i respond to a few. when a discussion caught my interest, i check out the profile of the poster too. and even some of the responders. sometimes i receive a pm, asking me to check out their sites or blogs. only if i'm interested do i check it out. and also, time-permitting of course. if i do feel that i'm missing somebody in mylot, i check out their profile just to see if they have been active recently and sometimes drop a short message. honestly speaking, i did it today. i checked about 10 or so mylot friends, and dropped a message to 4 of them. :)

Not always but yet sometimes. When ever I found a person discussion or reply interesting then I visit his/her profile and send them friend request. Again when ever someone sends me a friend request then also I see his/her profile. I sometimes visit their blog or website too. How a person is, is judged by the person's act and here in mylot we can understand that from his/her replies and discussion. If I find someone interesting here then I do visit that person's profile in mylot.

I'm generally not one to check out profiles..soemtimes I do for whatever reason but its very very rare...

Yes, I do most specially those who are active in some discussions, but not all of them. the population of this site is rising occasionally. unfortunately, i don't comment on their profile not as much what i do with friendster or other social networking sites. There's a lot of interesting people but very few to check or view..

I do view some, but not all the time. If I can see someone's post as really something of an intelligent point of view, makes me interested and just a few seconds look to their page. The profiles here don't reveal much too, so not that interesting, I wish mylot could make editing profiles with more artistic options and tweaks though. Ciao!

well since i am new out here and don't know many people i do care to take a look at their profiles but not all the time.....but i think you have made a point here....we should definitely take a look at the profiles of other members and should give them feedback/suggestions about it....i believe in this way we all can grow and not all the time but most of the time the other person would also take a look into our profiles and give us a feedback.....that's a nice thought up there....will try to view those profiles and make friends out here....thanks

Hi, mrsl2008! Yes, I do take the time to check out another members profile. Especially, if I am very curious about them. I want to know more about them. So, going to their profile would help me to see what kind of person that they may could be. But, I don't know all about them, because I have not seen them from my own eyes in person. Yes, I do look at their links as well. I am planning on starting to look at profiles more better than I am already doing. This will help out so much.

Well, it depends.. I will give time to read other people's profile if I am interested in them... I mean when there is something interesting in that person, I would spend time reading about them. But if there's nothing significant in that person?I don;t mind to read their profile. I just respond to their discussion and that's all.

Well not always i go to peoples profile and pay a visit but i do it with the ones who get to become my good friends here and then we are a bit close as in friends, only then or if i like some of them here i love to visit their profiles too. but not for everyone i do because my window takes time to show up after every reply i give here so it is difficult to visit each and everyones profile.

When reading other members discussions or comments is I see a member who has posted a discussion that is very interesting or get a feeling that we are like-minded, then I take the time out to check on his profile. Earlier when I first joined this site, I just searched for members to be my friends who were having more number of posts and discussions to their names which is not exactly the case now !!

no.....im so seldom to check out their profiles... if i need to send them messages, then i will go to their profiles... but i never see the profile one by one to everyone that replying my post or else...

Sometimes I do, and other times I don't. :-) It all depends on what I am doing at that present time. :-) If my main focus was to come to myLot only to answer questions then the answer would be, no. :-) On the other hand, if I came to take a browse, then my answer would be, yes. :-) There are times when I have viewed a person's profile so that I could add them as one of my friends, and there are other times when I visit because that person's profile picture appeared to look so "cool" to me. :-)

i don't spend much time viewing other members' profiles but if i know someone that joined mylot then maybe i'll take some time viewing my friend's profile..ü but i give some commentaries and advices to my mylot friends and sometimes i visit their links but not all the time..ü

It depends .sometime i may not have enough time to look at member profiles ,but when i want to make some friend ,i must look at his profiles .because i want to know something about him or her .Every friend should be familiar to you ,so it s a must to look the profiles . I also know some people would see my profiles when they want to make friends with me .

i always check the profile of members that responds to my posted discussion and before i respond to a discussion, i first check the profile of that member (out of curiosity). What's nice about checking other members profile is that you'll learn and acquire ideas from their profile or websites. i usually send friend request to mylotters with websites/blogs that are inspiring as well to those that i think with interest similar to mine.
