why must there be so much hurry?is there really that much to miss?rush,rush,rush--I'm running late, red light,brakes,coffee,spill...puh-lease!The reason there is do much pressure and stress on us and the reason we are running late has to do with the fact that we are cramming 37hours of work, envents, activities, etc into an itty-bitty little 24hours day.I even heard of a church that starts its Sunday morning services at6:30AM because its superchanged members don't want it to get in the way of their very productive ,all-important day, packed with superchanged activities.that's right there is a sin if you ask me

In the Caribbean there is a slower pace to life and visitors find it relaxing. In my home country though people rush about thinking they must get to work on time and go to the supermarket after work. I know one guy of 25 years old that works full time as a builder and he goes to evening classes in French, Spanish and dancing. I am not sure how he manages to keep up his energy levels. Walking is a way to see scenery that would be whizzed past in a car. I think that 6.30 am is way too early for a church to open on a Sunday.

I am not quite sure about the last statement you made about the sin, as I am not religious but I totally agree on our lives being very hectic. I also agree that we need to slow down. I was just discussing this topic with someone the other day and saying that we don't even seem to notice the days go by anymore. We are always so busy with everything else that we forget to take the time to actually ''live''! I think the best thing to do is to take a few moments everyday and stop everything that we are doing - to look around us and appreciate what we have and be thankful for it, take it all in, so to speak. Perhaps that would make us realize that we are on this earth just to take care of business, but also to experience life as it is meant to be lived.

I will be in a hurry if I am late for something, work or appointments. The consequences are bad enough to make me rush like crazy. Sometimes I can't help to be late so I need to overcome it by being in a hurry to another place. However, despite rushing here and there, I never let it affect my personal time for family and God.
