PLease tell me, do you or do you not play the lottery? If you dont, is it because of moral or religious reasons? If you do, do you really anticipate winning? I wonder because recently the jackpots have been getting much higher than they have in the past. Why do you think that is? Is it because less people are playing because they dont have the extra $2 to waste? I have considered playing because the most recent jackpot for mega millions is $181million!!!!! The Texas Lottery recently got pretty high as well. I think I may go get a lottery ticket!

I very rarely play the lottery. I use to play it more, before I was a real adult and had real expenses, lol. When I do play the lottery it's just scratch off tickets. And I never spend more than 10$-15$. Usually though I'll spend five dollars and be done with it. I do it mostly for fun. I never go into it expecting to win a million dollars. Although that would be a great bonus! haha

I also play scratch offs from time to time, but I think I have only played the lottery once or twice. I havent had much luck on scratchoffs lately, but when we go gambling, we always stop and buy a scratch off (to get the losing out of the way)

I tend to not play the Lottery because I'm broke, but the real reason is because I got disgusted with it years ago. I was with my dad (and not of age to buy myself a lottery ticket mind you) and he, on a whim, decided to buy a couple of scratchers and let me scratch one. He won $2.00 and I won nothing. We walked back to the convenience store and he traded his ticket in for two more $1.00 scratchers. As we scratched the second set of tickets he once again won $2.00 and I got zilch. Again we went back to the convenience store for two more tickets. At this point, thinking he was getting the lucky tickets, I made him trade me tickets...he won again anyway. At that point he asked if I wanted to go back and I told him to forget it. I've never really been interested in the Lottery since. If I had a job that gave me tips, and a descent wage I would most likely play for the heck of it when the jackpots get really high. When I lived in Las Vegas I would play the video poker machines with my tip money, occasionally I would win, mostly I would loose, but frankly I can find other things that will give me more entertainment for my money these days.

I dont play but only because the chances of winning are so low.. i mean just about everyone i know play that thing and have since i can remember.. and no one has really won anything big.. so think about it.. if they spend 10 (easy number to work with) bucks a week on lotto tickets for 10 years.. and get relatively nothing back.. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!! but if you put ten dollars into a bank account for ten years.. whats that.. 10 times 52 weeks in a year is 520 a year.. thats not a lot but better then nothing.. then times that by TEN years.. that's 5,200 right ? hmm.. and if they've played for 20 years.. that's 10,400!! that's a downpayment on a house!! wow.. I have heard the lotto called the stupid mans tax before.. i think they are right whoever said that!!

I do not play the lottery. I feel that with the lottery, I mean it is usually those who cannot afford it who play it. My husband used to buy lottery tickets and I said you would never win. Besides I do not like taking chances on things. When I buy a product and get a ticket it is a different thing because I know that ticket is included in the price and there is a religious forbidding, but I felt that lottery tickets were not that good before that.

I do play lottery sometimes but not big bets and only when the prize has reached to super high. I always put positive thoughts when I buy lottery but it seems lady luck is not smiling at me yet. Well, you'll never know with a $1 bet you can be an instant millionaire.

I don't play the lottery simply because I don't have money to join. Haha. It's not about moral or religious reasons but it's about the lack of money. But my parents are up for it, now that the jackpot here in our country is getting bigger and bigger. It's scary though that all people know how huge the jackpot already is. There was one time I saw there was a long line of people who waited patiently to buy a ticket. With so many people joining, then winning is almost impossible. If I already have a job, I'll definitely play the lottery. I mean, the ticket doesn't really cost that much and you'll never know right? :)

I do try my luck on the Lottery but I do not play lottery on a regular basis. If the jackpot is way too high, I do bet. Of course the idea of winning the jackpot is entertained in my thought but somehow I am not convinced that I will really win

I was playing many years the lotteries and spend much more money, until I thought about and stopped it. I think you don't have to play the lottery to get money, cause that means you need money. So since I stopped playing lottery the money is coming more and more into my life.....That's what I wanted to tell you. Thanks.

i used to bet on the lottery once but i think you need pure luck and a lot of prayers to win in this game..ü but some people regularly spend some money to play the lottery..hoping to win the grand prize..ü maybe one day you'll be lucky and win the lottery!!ü

I am not a lottery fan.But I have bought lottery a few times. Hard to express my reason, just on impulse ,I guess. The high jackpots did contribute to my purchases. But meanwhile, I was fully aware of the tiny chance of winning the prize. I just consider this kind of behavior as a way of donation. So personally, my suggestion is that if you do have some extra money, you can play the lottery ,but don't put too much anticipation to it,otherwise you'll just get disappointed. Good luck!
