What's your favorite coffee???

There was an unofficial survey and taste test among news here in Barrie and it turns out that most people prefer Tim Hortons or the higher priced coffee. I really don't like Buger King or McDonalds coffee and I don't mind Tim Horton's. What they don't tell you is that each franchise is different. If you get Tim Hortons coffee at a gas station, it usually tastes terrible, whereas Tim Hortons off the highway tastes much better. Also sometimes I prefer instant to perk and if I have perk it is usually Maxwell House or Folgers. So, what's your favorite coffee?

Coffee for me is sacred. It should be strong no sugar nor milk. I make my own espresso with Illy.

What's Illy? It's nice to see someone who loves their java so much that they add nothing to it so that they get the full roast taste of the coffee itself and not the taste of the additives. Bravo!!! Thanks for your response :))

Everyone is different. For the longest time I could only drink cold beverages such as chocolate milk, soda, juice and water. I think everyone's tastes change and so you may not like something this month, but next month you may love it. Thank you so much for your response :))

Maxwell House is good. I think Folger's can be on the bitter side. I love the Maxie Java Iced Milkway. Oh my gosh! They are delicious. I don't even care for perked or even instant after getting hooked on the Milkway. They are so good! Expresso, steamed chocolate milk and carmel flavoring. Yum! I get one nearly everyday now. Nescafe is good too.

I think that Maxwell House and Folgers take turns with the bitter. Some months I love Maxwell House, then it tastes bitter, so I switch to Folgers, then back again. I've never heard of Maxie Java Iced Milkway. Is that in a store or just a packet you make at home? Thanks for your response.

Here in the Philippines, we have a coffee made from corn. And it taste much like coffee bean coffee, but with a little corn-like scent And it's very healthy too!, high in fiber, no cholesterol, no preservatives, and the best of all not a bit of caffeine!. Too bad they seldom sell this in malls or groceries only in dry markets. But sure is my favorite and healthy substitute for coffee! Cheers!.. :)

I have never heard of that, but it sounds delicious. I wish they had something like that here in Canada. Sounds much healthier than that caffeinated bean...LOL Thanks for your response.

Very simple answer, and I'm sure many people here will agree with me. Tim Horton's coffee is definately the best coffee I have ever had. I can't even stand the taste of other coffee. Starbucks is way overpriced and it tastes horrible, (except for their Chai Tea Latte's but thats technically not coffee, it's tea) and Timmy's is just so good. I know there were rumors that they were putting caffeine in the coffee to get people addicted but still... it's soooo good! If you haven't tried it yet, you definately should.

I have this tissimo thing my brother got me for xmas.. i dont even think taht's how you spell it, but its a space aged coffee maker, makes one cup, and it makes fancy cups of coffee like lattes and creamy coffee.. i love it. it takes little disks, you plop the disk it, it putts and spits and makes funny noises and 10 seconds later, your coffee is done. I can't drink the coffee at tims.. its WAY to strong, it gives me the jittery jitters lol. i usually get tea from tims.. i think the gas station thing is because most of the JUST tim hortons's go by the 20 minute rule, if its there longer then 20 mins they throw it out and make a new one.. but the gas station ones prob dont do that.. i dunno that's my best guess. i worked at a tims.. there is not really any way you can screw up the coffee other then that. lol. the amount comes in a package, all you do is put the coffee in the paper liner and hit the button!! so unless they burning it by leaving it on too long i'm not sure. I liked folgers before i got my fancy maker.

I know what your talking about. My sister got one for christmas. They use K-cups. I liked all of the flavored coffee and teas, but I didn't like the regular coffee. I think maybe your right with the gas station coffee, that they leave it on too long. Thank you for your response.

in my country i think that the most popular ones are starbucks and seattle's best...but i prefer the local franchise..figaro..and the very expensive ucc...i'm not a coffee drinker though but,,,these two are the ones that i prefer...and for the flavor..just the plain brewed coffee...no fancy flavor for me...

Yeah, some people prefer the cheaper places and others enjoy the higher priced places and others still are neutral. If they want coffee, they don't care where it is. :)) (My hubs is someone like this, but he hates hospital coffee...LOL) Do you like your coffee strong or weak when you do have it? I enjoy tea and hot chocolate as well.

Yeah, hazelnut is really good. I have tried some other flavors too and I think Hazelnut, Vanilla and Irish Cream are my top three fav's. There are just so many out there and not all flavored coffee tastes the same either. Have you ever tried the flavored creams? Mmmmmm I adore the butter caramel one. Yummy!!! Thanks for your response

If I want instant coffee I'll just get a pack of KOPIKO or San Miguel Coffee. But if I am out of the house and want to sip a cup of coffee, I usually go to Coffee Bean, Figaro and Seattle's Best! I just love their coffee! By the way, when I'm in a coffee shop I usually order iced coffee! Happy MyLotting!

I'm completely fond of Au Bon Pain. I worked there last year while I was at school and because I worked there I started to get addicted to coffee. For me, their coffee is better than anything I'm brewing at home and I've never really been a fan of coffee anywhere else. Like I can put up with it, but while I'm at school and if I have a choice I'm walking over to ABP to get my coffee. Flavor wise I can't really choose. Sometimes I'm a french roast, others either a hazelnut or morning blend.

I love the flavored coffee way more than regular. My favorite is Irish Cream, Hazelnut and French Vanilla, but I also enjoy the ones with chocolate as well. I have never heard of Au Bon Pain. Thank you for your response.
