mylot contest/rewards

isn't it exciting if mylot will add another feature or ways to earn money? Have you ever thought of a "contest" tab appearing on mylot page. like for example under the "contest" the users that has spent the longest hours on my lot for the month can win cash? atleast the users will be motivated to read carefully and search for topics on which they can respond. or have you ever thought of mylot giving cash for the user that has responded the most number of discussions for the month.
i think that this can be easily earned than completing "tasks". what do you think?

I like the idea of "contests" on mylot as I go to one of my gpt sites every day because of the contests they have going on there...that keeps me interested and trying new things.
I havent yet attempted any of the "tasks" here since I have been trying to fit in alot during my days lately....not just on the computer, but I am hoping to have a better schedule of things by summer.
I guess we will have to wait to see if this topic sparks interest and they give it a try!!

hello there BRM08. yes, i am very excited too..i could try to look for more active referrals if mylot will give bonus to those users that cause the most number of active referrals.

I agree with you. Thats a very good idea. Every myLot member can beneit from that kind of contest. I hope they can also make other contests that every members would be very motivated to participate in. They should also add some incentives to a member who has received a best response in a discussion. Tasks in myLot is not available for me since I live in an Asian country so I think contests can be a very good and rewarding to the myLot members.

i think mylot is already adding points to those users marked with best responses. but of course mylot admin won't tell it (i suppose you know why?) :)
also, i am surprise to know that you cannot find the tasks for you since you are an asian. well, i do know a lot of asian who accepts and submit for their tasks.

I like the idea however I think it's open to abuse.
For the person with most posted responses, they would need rules otherwise people would not bother reading just giving 1 word answers and I'm not sure people would read discussions any more carefully then they choose to now.
Also people could just leave their account logged in for the whole day to register without actively taking part for the most hours spent on here, again would need rules to stop abuse
It is a great idea but would need refining by mylot should they choose to develop anything like it.

i think as of date mylot never give points to those users with one-word or one sentence. i am thinking if there is this monitoring software or tool so that mylot can monitor if the person is actively participating during the hours they are logged in. have you used the monitoring software of elance for example?

I like the hole concept but there is a problem of if winner of contest is determined by the no of posts. Then there might be problem with spam. What can be done is that they can add some more bonus income for those persons who are active in the site with quality discussion or replies. Mylot has already have a rating system. Lets say they can provide some bonus to top 1000 ranked people a certain amount. Then there can be no spamming because raking is given by other members. I think this can be done.

i'm thinking if mylot can have a monitoring software or tool so that they would know if the discussion is only copy/pasted or a spam.
you too has a great idea, giving bonus to top 1000..

That is a great idea. It will really motivate the users to do more here in mylot. You can also add this one, the person who has the most top discussion of the month should also be rewarded.

I think it would be interesting. So long as there are rules to follow...like for the most responses maybe do a X amount of lines or words or something like that otherwise the posts may be small and a waste of time for others who have to read thru them.
I think it would be a really good idea.

hello there. yeah that would be a great idea. i hope the mylot admin would see your post. i am earning so little here and there are even days when i think i don't earn any cent even if i posted a number of replies to discussions. a new way to earn more money here would be great.
